I have a NETGEAR Rangemax Dual-Band Wireless-N Gigabit Router (WNDR3700), and I'm having zero issues. I've turned encryption off, MAC address filtering turned on, and broadcast SSID off. I have about 5 devices connected to it at any given time.

i have the same router and mine drops connection all the time. it does not see the 5ghz signal at all only the 2.4 and my speed all ways says link speed 65mbps. i can't figure out what setting will work best to get better speed for DX and still have security. any thoughts? What speeds are you getting?

and keep it connected. I have also seen where the 3G symbol is still on the screen with the Wifi symbol??

Feedback for Netgear "WNR2000" & Epic 4G ( DK28 TER Froyo 2.2)
Thanks Corey

I upgraded Firmware ( already tried this before) & changed the security settings
Netgear wireless N router "WNR2000"

Security Options (WPA-PSK + WPA2-PSK) <------- this was the key to the fix but must have most recent firmware for this to work.
For those that do not know how to access their router settings.
google search Router settings for .. "router manufacterer & model #

For Netgear users Netgear Router settings if you are prompted with a login:
user name= admin password = password

from Netgear ....

Thank you for purchasing Netgear's WNR2000 Wireless-N Router. Be sure to use the Firmware Upgrade periodically to take advantage of improvements and feature additions NETGEAR offers for this product.

Thanks for bringing this thread back up. It was really handy to have. It's got more views than some of the stickies, I wonder if it should be stickied too.
