Wifi turning off on it's own

Just started recently. Wifi calling and the smart settings are off and wifi set to stay on when screen goes off. Anyone know?

Does the wi-fi only turn off when the screen is asleep, or does it also turn off when you're actively using the phone?

Are there any power-saving modes turned on?

Mine does as well but only when I'm at work it's fine at home and no one else's does at work and my s5 didn't turn off.

I was having the same issue. Resolved by installing the following app https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...s?id=com.roy.wifimonitor&hl=en&token=4IZ-9ycO

For the record the setting under wifi for "Keep wifi on when screen is off" was set to Yes and ignore optimization for wifi was enabled, and did not resolve the issue.

Turned these off after installing the app and wifi is still working perfectly thanks to this app. Stopping this app makes the issue return.
