Just rooted my Optimus S the other night and just got around to trying the WiFi tonight. It finds all of the available networks and connects to mine but gets stuck on "obtaining IP address...". I'm rooted running on Your Mom ROM (which is awesome btw). I didn't flash any kernals or anything. Am I missing something? I just rebooted it and still no go.

Log into your router and verify the (wifi log-in) password, because that's what the phone does if the password you entered (on the phone) is wrong.

After you verify that, this will make it easier to enter the password correctly (on the phone).
Put a check in the box that says "show password" You'll see it when you select a wifi network to log into (on the phone). Now you can see the whole password you're typing and make sure it's correct.

Sweet, thanks man. Haha, I feel like an idiot. I had written down my WEP key and I wrote down 1 wrong number. It's working now.

Thanks again!
