Will a Philippines bought unlocked Samsung Galaxy s7 work with a US AT&T sim?

I have an unlocked s7 which I bought here in the Philippines and I was wondering if anybody knows if it'll work with my US issued AT&T sim? I heard about the region lock thing so I have not inserted any sim card on it yet. I plan to use my at&t sim when activating it for the first time.
