This is obviously a noob question, so go easy on me.

I was on HTC's website and they showed the frequencies that the HTC One supports, one of them were the 700 MHz band the Verizon's LTE works on. I was wondering if anyone of you can enlighten me and tell me if this would work or not. I can see a potential problem with maybe CDMA?

Thanks in advance.

Hmm weird. Figured as well.

Lol. I'm listening to the most recent Droid-Life podcast while reading this thread. They just mentioned its illegal to flash a non Verizon device to work on their network.

It is not illegal to unlock devices if the carrier unlocks it but it is illegal for you personally to unlock devices manufactured after jan 20 2013
In theory if the MHz match up with what verizon is broadcasting there should be no reason it would not work if you buy the htc unlocked version but before you invest in any thing Definitely call Verizon first and ask them if your unlock phone will work on there network Verizon I have put other unlocked phones on there network before but never a lte phone but just sayin ever since Verizon joined with Vodafone has been a CDMA/WCDMA/ltegsm on the 700mhz wave
