Will evo be your first android phone

First Android for my and my girlfriend. I'm giving up a Palm Treo 800W (which in turn replaced a Palm Treo 700P). She is giving up her Palm Centro.

Yep, my first Android, but not my first HTC, I'm going from, Palm Treo 650 > Cingular 8125 (HTC WIZARD) > BlackBerry Curve. Oh Yea, I did have a iPaq H3800 Series.

This will be my first Android phone....I've been an iPhone user since the day it came out, upgrade every year...bored with the OS. So I'm going to pick up the 4th gen iPhone and compare the Evo to it and make my decision on what I'm sticking with

Im dissapointed with AT&T and their raising of ETF fees sucks also. I wont miss any apps if I do stick with the Evo cause I have an Ipad

My first android but not first touch screen . At first I was a diehard blackberry addict (no longer crackberry addict LOL), and I swore I would not ever have a touch screen phone again lolol. Now look at me on androidcentral reading blogs and forums about the Evo . I needed a change especially in a phone and I cant wait til FRIDAY!!!. I have two blackberries and an itouch lol

Don't ask why but I sorta went backwards. I had the T-Mobile G1 (which was actually shipped to me 3 days before actual launch through T-Mobile which was cool on their part). Loved have that phone until the bugs started rolling in. But coming from a 1st Gen iPhone I was used to it. Got rid of the G1 a year or so later for a BB Curve 8900 (Backwards like I mentioned, not even 3G). Now I am READY AND ANXIOUSlY awaiting June 4th!!!

First time android here as well, and boy have I been waiting for it. I started out with a Samsung i830 winmo smart phone, that thing was a beast. I then went to the Palm 700p & 700wx respectively before settling back with the 700p.

I've wanted an android phone since the G1 but I didn't exactly want the G1. My contract was up this past January, right around the time Sprint started advertising 4G. My gut instinct was to wait for a 4G phone, then came the N1 and boy was I tempted, I decided from playing with the Hero for awhile that I'd hold out for an HTC device w/Sense. That's how I evo.

Like a few others this will be my first Android phone, and I think this is the perfect time to get this phone, okay, almost perfect since I don't live in or around a 4G area. I'm switching from WebOS as well. Good bye palm pre, you will be missed, for about a minute.
