Will evo be your first android phone

Been keeping up with this community since before it was released on any phones. I ended up buying a Pre because Sprint had no droid devices. So when the Hero came out, I wasn't due for an upgrade, and truthfully, I was loving the Pre. Now that the EVO's coming to Sprint, I'm down with droid! These last few weeks have been the longest weeks of my life! Can't wait to get mine Friday!

Yup, from the BB OS. Bout time something came to Sprint worth leaving my BB for. Not that i don't like BBs, but the Evo is nice...

It will be my first "official" Android phone, however I've been running XDAndroid on my HTC Touch Pro for a while...

Amazing results. However- I believe that the results are more an indication of the users in this forum versus new android users across the board.

Androidcentral has picked up a huge % of the evo dedicated traffic.

Some of the other android boards that have historically had more traffic than here would show the opposite results.

Kudos to androidcentral.

I'm almost 100% certain I'm switching to the Evo from my Pre. Slingplayer/flash are just too good for me to pass up and my Pre is getting a little banged up. Unless Palm announces a similarly spec'd phone by Friday, I'm switching. I love WebOS, but I'm not a patient man when it comes to tech.
