Will factory reset fix V10 battery drain?

My V10 just has not broken in like I would imagine. The battery still drains inexplicably at times. I'm starting to wonder if it's my choice of apps. Either way has anyone had issues that cleared after a good factory reset and set up as new?

I just don't like having to tweak settings and restrict apps. I didn't feel like I had to do this with my previous G4.... But maybe it's just all in my head. Lol.

Don't expect much change in the battery life after a reset or any changes for that matter. I've noticed the battery drains the more after the screen has been on for a while. It doesn't use that much battery life when the screen is on.
I don't have battery issues because I always carry a spare battery in my wallet. So I never have to plugin. I change out with my spare relatively often but it takes just a few seconds. Having the charging cradle is beneficial as well.

I turned off my email automatic updates. It's not important to me to have the new messages waiting there, I just manually update when I feel the urge to check my email. I have three email accounts loaded.

Check the per app usage in the battery usage section of settings. I run Facebook with no notifications. I find the number of them annoying and usually people don't have much of import to say anyway! LOL...

Whats your brightness set at? Are you using GPS more than usual?.. Are you using free apps not paid?.. Is your signal for 4G switching to 3G often?.. Are you draining the battery till it shows red?.... Are you leaving it in sunlight or someplace hot?.. Do you have vibration notifications on?....... Just some things to think about.. Maybe it's not JUST the battery..

Go to your battery usage monitor and note the most guilty culprits... kill em' unless you really do need/use them enough to keep them chugging and churning in the background. For me it was Amazon, Facebook. Once I wiped those and turned down my screen brightness my battery life has been very good. Just a little screen brightness reduction helps.... IMHO.

x2... I forgot about that one. I deleted / deactivated it within an hour or two of getting my V10.

I had a huge drain issue the other day. I removed sim and sd. Rebooted after a few mins. Reinsert ed both and Rebooted. Helped me out a lot.

its a bloatware app that verizion puts on there phones .uses lots of battery.they can dowm load stuff on your phone without your knowledge.you can disable it.you can google it to read all the things about it.they had this on the g3 too.

I reflashed my phone the other day and didn't change any settings and just had it run like a fresh new device and my battery lasted 11 hours and I got home and still had 46 percent left. Was awesome.
