Will flashing stock firmware with Odin wipe media files I've recorded on the phone?

The phone belongs to a friend's son who has terminal cancer and recorded audio for posterity. Now stuck at boot logo. I'm about to perform a fix I found at xda using stock firmware and Odin but I need to be sure it won't wipe these precious files. I CAN get to the download menu so I think that is promising.

Its been a long time since I used Odin, but i believe the answer is YES it will wipe the phone. You might ask over on XDA to be sure. But I would exhaust all other possibilities, since those files are so vital.
