Will I get the update to my Galaxy S6 Edge if it is rooted?

Rooting a Galaxy S6 Edge

Hello,

I am actually a software developer, but I have never rooted any Android phones (or jailbroken an iPhone).

But I just switched to Sprint and my S6 is just infected with all kinds of Sprint bloatware and it is unbearable for me.

I currently have a NoVa Launcher and everything customized nicely, and would like to keep that if possible.

My big question is, will any Android or Sprint Updates still be able to be applied if my phone is rooted? Are there any significant drawbacks? And how do I get started?

There is a new one click root option available for the S6 S6 Edge that covers nearly all carriers including Verizon & AT&T. Do a quick search PingPong Root.
