Will T-Mobile's NX4 receive updates at the same time as Play Stores?

So I heard some talk that TMO won't be adding bloat wear to their NX4 but does that mean it will be unlocked and I will receive updates at the same time Google pushes them to the Play Store version? The reason I'm asking is because I have an upgrade and it won't extend my contract, so as soon as T-Mobile tells me how much it would cost to upgrade, if its cheaper then I'll go that rout. What do you guys think?

It should be 199 on a classic plan full upgrade (though I don't know if it's the 8gb or 16gb)
I bought my Nexus S through best buy using a T-mobile upgrade and I got timely updates.
(not exactly what you're asking but I can only speak from my personal experience.)

Welcome to AC!

The Nexus 4 will be identical no matter where you purchase it from. Only difference will be the price (overall cheaper from Google directly).

Were your updates at the same time as NX S updates from the play story version or a few weeks behind?

It should, considering it's the exact same phone.

That's what I thought but I wanted to make sure because I would hate to get it from T-Mobile and suffer from slow updates....

Just to let you T-Mobile subscribers out there know... tmos customer service still doesn't know him much the upgrade will be. They keep telling me not bother calling back and to just check the website because the website is what they use ( stripped down with no pics) that's stupid.

I wonder if you buy it through T-Mobile if it will have their logo on it? I know the playstore one wont.

My local T-Mob will not confirm if they will have the Nexus 4 in the store tomorrow. I have yet to read that they will be available in retail stores anywhere.

Have you confirmed with your local store that they will have them?

I called them and they did say they would be receiving some today... but they told me that I couldn't buy one until Tuesday.
