will tf701 update if device is unlocked?

My transformer build number is 11.4.1.27-20141017. Form scanning the forums it is my understanding that ASUS pushed and update last month to fix the battery drain issue. I have not recieved the update yet. Do you think the facts that I unlocked the boot loader has anything to do with it? If so, how can I maually push the update to my device?

Try XDA Forums and see if anyone has captured the update file (which deletes itself after doing the update). A lot of developers over there capture update files.

Okay. I did not determine if whether unlocking the device somehow prevents the device from automatically updating. However, I did some pokign around ASUS's website, found the update and manually updated myself. Here's hoping for better battery life in the new year!
