Since it appears that VZW is no longer going to sell the galaxy nexus, will they lower the full retail price on remaining new units?

Why do you believe VZW has dropped the Galaxy Nexus? They dropped them from my local stores back in June but it is being sold widely online.

Was told they are phasing it out, preparing for new devices. It was still on shelves last month in local corporate stores, but not any longer. I want to buy a new one, just not at their full retail- the phone is almost a year old. I tried buying off craigslist, but didn't have a good experience. My contract is up next month on my tbolt. I want to wait to see what is going to release, but my bolt is dying a flow death. I also wasn't to keep my unlimited data, so the nexus seems like my best option. I still don't think its fair that the gsm version is almost half the price of the cdma phone.

Its about time for the price to drop again. Not sure how low they will go, but once the next Nexus is released the price will be cut again.

Why not try eBay or swappa? I picked up a real nice GN on eBay a month ago for $230. The good thing about those sites is that if it's not as described you have recourse.

EBay and craigslist are great ideas .the only problem with craigslist is there are slim to none galaxy nexus being sold around my neck of the woods..which is good because that just shows people are still enjoying them

I got one for my wife a month ago free at Best Buy. I doubt they are making more of these since the next nexus is coming soon. Its almost a year old phone, Verizon probably want to sell some new phones that ship with ICS instead.
