Will the Galaxy S6 be the phone of the year for 2015?

Why is the G4 out? If their claims of better screen, camera and battery play out then the S6 isn't doing anything better. These two devices are both very similarly competitive from what I've seen with LG and the G4 claiming to push further in almost every category. These both seem like they could end the year in the top 5 android devices this year.

I'm pretty much posting in an 'in my opinion' mode. In the case of the G4 I gave the S6 better marks for physical design, preferring TW over LG UI (although not a huge fan of either, I dislike LG's more than Samsung's), and preference for the Exynos chip this time around.

Roger that. I gave it to LG on materials and design, but I know a lot of people like that glass. Good point on the processor as well. It's a pretty difficult "objective" comparison - will end up in preferences for most users.

When you say something about a phone,
Do you ever look at the applications that work inside the operating system ?
Or does a phone just not have everything you wanted.
For me the Lollipop operating system is pretty nice.
But the applications on the S6 that work inside the operating system has really improved.
The S5 had Polaris office.

Hanco office on the S6 is a better application and allows more flexibility than on the S5.

Out of everybody complaining about the S6.
How many people has had it using it for weeks.
To me it's the best phone I have ever owned.
Not had a single problem with it or Lollipop.
Phone is fast.
Camera is great.

Re: Phone of the year.

For the moment, I'm not very convinced with the Samsung curve screen ... I don't really know what it is for really ...

Or you can just keep waiting on what you think will be the Best Phone.
After having the S6 from Aprin 10th. I am really happy with it.
I was concerned it didn't have a SD card and a removable battery.

Well I have a 64gb phone. And the battery changes just like the phone when you use it.
Both are doing great.
The S6 did turn out to be a great phone.
