Will the Verizon SIM card from a Verizon HTC ADR6425 work in an Samsung S5?

I want to buy an S5 on ebay but they don't have sim cards. I have an old ADR6425 with a sim card in it. Just wondering if all sims are created equal.

no, sim cards are different from each carrier.
You have to first see which carrier the phone works with and see which one you have.
