Let me explain,...
I decided to Root my Samsung Fascinate and it worked! I loved the results. I downloaded a root app called system app uninstaller. Good idea!... Bad execution on my part. Being a newbie I started deleting system apps WITHOUT backing them up. DUMBASS!! right??
Well anyway it actually worked out great! Except for 1 thing..... My Android Market will no longer download. it remains stuck at "downloading" yet in never does.
After reading several forum posts, it is to my understanding that i messed up by deleting Gtalk.apk, GtalkService.apk & Gtalkserviceprovier.apk.
Im guessing The Market uses Gtalk to push downloads. Well,.... whats done is done,... I messed up! I can only download apps through the browser in apk Dumps.
I should receive 2.2 Froyo from Verizon soon. Will updating renew my gtalk and complete market access?
Also I tried downloading Gtalkservice.apk and once on my phone it says "Parse error: There is a problem parcing your package" wth? lol
Can anyone answer my question, offer advice and/or provide me with a solution?
Thank you!
