Will VR be able to improve N4 sales? or is it better to make it compatible with other sammi devices?

I know samsung is trying to encourage Note 4 sales with this. I am just unsure if its wise.

Wouldn't it be better show they are loyal to their customers by making it compatible with Note 3, S5, S4?
