Will VZW get it? What do you think?

I've got no problems with Verizon, except that their pricing plans are $40+ per month more expensive than comparable T-Mo/AT+T plans.
And that CMDA phones don't travel internationally.

Ya there hasn't been any official announcements yet in regards to nexus 4 so no one can confirm its going to come to verizon. I would guess this time around google will release the unlocked gsm versions first through the playstore. Then down the road release sprint/verizon/LTE versions.

I don't have anything against releasing Nexus phones on CDMA carriers, it was that ridiculous exclusivity deal with Verizon last round that pissed everyone off.

If you take 2+ lines, it is much less expensive. Doesn't pay to have only 1 line with VZW.

Someone has to pay for LTE.

kinda sucks if verizon won't carry it...i wouldn't be surprised after hearing Google only wants to release it as 3G

Haven't heard that anywhere. But if you're talking about the likely outcome of the Play Store variant being HSPA+ only, then that's just about a given. It'd be up to the carriers to order their own variants if they want them.

Verizon seems to be clearing out their inventory of the Galaxy Nexus. That usually points to a replacement device being on the way. Perhaps a Nexus 4? Maybe even something we don't know about already? Either way, I think that a new Nexus might be on its way to VZW.

What they need to do is step up the radios. Vzw iPhone 5 is sim unlocked works on any carrier except Sprint. Sprint has locked there iPhone 5 so its only able to work on there network

You have to thank Sprint for wallet issues
Network is superior, but updates are a bit slower and stupid things like Wallet not being supported, granted there are simple workarounds.

Personally, I'll be looking hard at ATT / Tmobile when my VZW contract ends in December 2013.

What's the point of VZW getting another Nexus when they can't offer the same Nexus experience GSM carriers offer? People have gone back and forth with rather or not the CDMA Nexus is a real Nexus. Some people say it is. I look at mine and see a 'Verizon 4G LTE' logo on the back. I see a device that has carrier apps and it gets updated by Verizon months later than the GSM Nexus. So if you ask me. The Galaxy Nexus on verizon is just another Verizon Wireless phone. Certainly can't call it a Google phone when its missing the Google logo and Google doesn't sell it or update it. Heck, Google doesn't even get to install the apps they want on it. Lol Verizon has no problem putting their apps on the Galaxy Nexus though.

Personally, if Verizon can't offer a real Nexus (which they can't), then I'd rather they not offer another pretend Nexus.

If anyone thinks that Google will not release their prime time product on the largest carrier in the USA you are crazy. Google is all about making money. They will release this phone to any carrier that wants to release it. Google is a COMPANY trying to make MONEY. Money makes the world go 'round. Keep that in mind.

VZW won't sell it if it ain't LTE capable. Period.

yea that's probably true, which I cant get mad at them for. Sure Verizon cost more but they stick that money right back into their network to expand it, and I don't blame them for only wanting devices that are going to help expand the new LTE technology, and not hold it back like a non-LTE device would.

I wouldn't exactly call My Verizon bloatware, I find it quite useful.

I never called it bloatware. But I'm pretty sure Google never envisioned My Verizon as part of the pure Google experience. Carrier modifications no matter if they are useful or not are still carrier modifications. I can't name a single Nexus device with carrier modifications except the CDMA versions.

For me, the unlockable bootloader and the lack of capacitive or hardware buttons seals the deal. I sure hope the nexus 4 comes to Verizon.
