They do, but I think the T-Mo version will be the exact version as the unlocked. So my guess is they cannot block it.

The T-Mobile version won't be the unlocked one as Google specifically stated that the unlocked one would only be available from Google Play so it's possible that Wallet won't work on it. T-Mobile supports ISIS, as does Verizon and AT&T. It's highly unlikely that ISIS will be on a Nexus though.

Sprint, US Cellular, and MetroPCS use Google Wallet.

It will only be available on the play store and subsidized through tmobile... For now. However they never said sprint or Verizon wouldn't get it later

agree to disagree. While VZW OTA updates have been delayed. It has only been about 2 extra months, not the end of the world. if you root and unlock its about a day after the GSM version. So you really dont have to wait much longer for updates and get the benefit of the worlds best LTE which is lightning fast. I would take a VZW Nexus all day every day over a crap GSM / HSPA+ model.

Not likely. According to the Verge, Google wants the Nexus devices to be completely free from Carrier interference and that will never happen on CDMA.

Last I checked, you can buy full-retail at T-Mobile and any other carrier.

T-Mobile sells unsubsidized devices to EVERYONE. Heck even their value plans ppl pay full prices for but require a 2 year contract to use. So idk what your point there is or was but it's incorrect. I can walk into any carrier store and pay full price for any phone. In fact I bought my S3 without subsidy.

I know what they want but it doesn't mean they turn away business to those paying full retail. My point is that its probably the same phone. I'm almost positive Google can't block Google wallet for t mobile since that would effectively block it on every one of these unlocked phones.

Maybe I'm wrong and they did indeed make two versions of the phone. But I kinda doubt it.

I won't write them off yet. Google says lots of things and changes their minds. After the nexus one Google said they were done making phones...

Also the price seems too good for the hardware so having an on contract tmobile version probably helps keep the unlocked cost down. After all you only save $150 up front, but pay $30 more a month. That brings the price to about $920 per phone. Lol yeah its a bad idea to get it subsidized through tmobile
