Are screen protectors really necessary with these screens? I thought that these were very scratch resistant. What's the benefit of having one?

Lol, yes...having a picture of my Mustang in snow obviously means I drive it in the snow. I drive a rear-wheel-drive car in the snow. There is nooooo way I could have just been shoveling snow and taken a picture of the car in the driveway.

Gorilla Glass is still...well...glass. And as we all know, glass can break, scratch, and crack. Personally, I don't mind spending an extra $10 to sleep a little bit better at night knowing I won't have to worry about such a massive screen taking damage.

Zombie phones are the scariest. I woke up a few years ago with one of my old phones sitting on my chest. I grabbed it pretty quickly and turned it over to see that the battery wasn't in the compartment. I threw it against the wall and somehow I was able to get back to sleep. It's a wonder I didn't have nightmares after that.
