Will you be 'casing' your X?!?!

I'll be casing both of our X's - most likely as follows:

VZW store cases & anti-glare screen protectors to start...

then....Seidio Innocase (or Active or Rugged) depending on what's out first....

then finally....

Otterbox Defenders once they get around to making them for the X.

I'm a case junkie - my iPhone has an Otterbox Defender, Otterbox Commuter TL, Seidio Innocase, SwitchEasy Capsule Rebel and SwitchEasy Colors. :D

I probably will as my wife and I are going to both have them and the case will make for easier distinction between the two. Otherwise I might try out the skins from Skinit.com.

I'm a big fan of Seidio. Been using them since 2008 for my 8330 and all of my subsequent devices (8330, Storm1, Tour, Storm2, Droid, and now X). I hope they release an Innocase in white! And an extended slim replacement battery, because they never released an extended slim for the Droid.

I treat my phone's like ****, and never put cases on them. Toss em on the floor, drop em on the desk... that's why i love the original Droid it's so robust. The casing has a few scuffs on it but the screen is almost pristine. I hope the Droid X is at least as durable as the original Droid, or i'm going to have a problem.

I had the Incredible for a few weeks and sent it back before my 30 days to get the X. I had a case pre-bought and instantly covered that bad boy up. However I am seeing some posts about how durable and sturdy built the X has been feeling. Incredible was a GREAT phone...but it did feel just a tiny bit fragile. I'm sort of anal about my phone being immaculate (oddly enough I don't use screen protectors though) and I am still on the fence about buying a case for this already beastly phone.

Who's doing it?? Who's not?? Who won't even let it out of the house so it can't get scratched?? I can't wait for this b!tch to drop on thursday.

No case for me.
I am getting the soft rubberized holster. $19.99 (its like the back of Dinc.)
The screen faces inward.
I am adding a screen protector.
...That is ALL...

Almost forgot. MotorolaDroidXaccessories.net has an Otterbox Drybox available for the Droid X.
I am getting that in case I happen to topple out of my boat fishing. My brother has been known to try and push me in after all the times I've pushed him in!!!
The Otterbox Drybox will keep your phone Afloat & dry. Its like an airtight coffin for your X.
Also can handle depths of up to 100ft!

armor it! i stopped buying cases for my phones since 2 years ago. adds unnecessary bulk, and loses appearance. of course that depends on the user i suppose. im very careful with my phones. my brother on the other hand, he needs the toughest case there is. lol

Girl I so know how you feel, I have a 8,7 and 3 yr old! My 3 yr old gets into more stuff then my older two did together and they are only 14 months apart!! LOL
I have a silicone case on my ipod touch and it is great! I plan on getting one for the X too!! My 3 yr old son loves to play on my ipod and has dropped it a couple times and it has had no ill effects!! I have a golla bag for my Blackberry too. I used it for awhile but then got sick of it. I might try it again for the X with a case.... it will be easier to grab with a case on it!

My one year old is nicknamed kamikazi (sp?) baby! She is in to EVERYTHING and climbs like nothing I've ever seen. She could manage to get my phone from atop the fireplace mantle!
