Will you be changing the launcher on your note 7

So I received my Note 7 today. It's GORGEOUS! However, Nova Launcher doesn't seem to play nicely like it has on all of my other Samsung phones even though I have pro. When I click it, it just generates a new desktop page with four icons. Can't get to settings or anything. Sadness as I've been using Nova Launcher since Galaxy S2. :'(

This is a good feature. Still, just of curiosity, this happens often enough to you to warrant concern for you? It happens to me - once in a while - but not often enough that it matters, and certainly not enough to make me switch launchers.

No every once in a while it happened to me. All the time for my wife.

Nope I don't mind the newer TW. Been smooth on my S7E so I will leave it alone on the Note also.

I wonder why . . . I was going to try to stay with TouchWiz for a little while but couldn't stand it. Finally did a backup of
Nova on my old phone and restored it on my new phone . . . it worked perfectly for me. I also have Nova Pro.

I just like the fact that I can lock my icons with Nova Launcher. No accidental deletes or moving the icons around. More then likely I will be back on Nova Launcher.

I was trying to remember why I installed Nova Launcher the first time. I think it was because of this . . . drove me nuts!

Twiz works just fine for me. The only other launcher I ever use is Arrow. When I want a touch of Microsoft.

I gave TW the better part of a day and then had to switch back to Nova Prime. With Nova I even turned off the edge screen. There is just no reason for me to use the edge when I can have everything I want/need on screen with Nova. Too many customization options for me to do without.

I do like some of TW new features, just not enough to stay. Functionality wins out every time.

Nope. TW doesn't bother me in the least. And it's not like it goes away when you use a new launcher. You're just piling one on top of it, using more resources.

I like Nova Launcher because you can turn off app animations and make it so much faster.

Did you try long pressing on the desktop to get to the settings?

On my note 4 I used Nova because touchwiz is laggy and not well designed. Now on my note 7 I am using stock touchwiz. It has come a long way. It is no longer laggy but smooth and just works well.

Just installed Nova myself. Made it over 24 hours on touchwiz but I need those Nova gestures. Couldn't deal with the app drawer icon being all the way on the right side, either.

Longtime nova prime launcher. Have had it on all my phones but I have recently been using grace ux touchwiz and I like it. Partially because I have become bored with nova. It makes all my phones feel the same

Nova Launcher user (typically) here. Has anyone had luck with the swipe up gesture to launch Samsung Pay? Or is it locked to TW Home?
