Can't answer that question now I've only been using my note for a day. But given that this note checks just about every box I don't think I'll switch until the note 9

Next year's iPhone will be the same as the iPhone X. iPhone X seems like a beta test and will become the norm next year.

Then, it'll be 5-10 years before Apple changes the design again!

I expect the S9 to be roughly the same. Maybe no bezels at top and bottom but I doubt it. The S10 will be the next big change up.

Either that, or next years note will go back to being the flagship phone and introduce a new style.

the one thing that I have noticed is all the people who keep talking crap about how much the note is or its just galaxy s8 with out the s pen are people who can't afford the note 8, my friend did the same kept going on and talking trash then his mother got him the note 8 and kind of sad since the guy is 29 years old., he couldn't stop saying how much he loves it, if you can't afford stop running your mouth off Dam haters

Personally I will stick with the Note 8. The S9 likely will be the Note 8 minus the spen with maybe a newer processor. Otherwise it will have the Note 8 features likely like dual camera and maybe 6gb of ram. I'm hearing the s9 might only have 4gb ram though and might be out in Feb.

It won't really be an upgrade over the Note 8.

Lol, if the S9 has 4GB RAM, it wouldn't be worth leaving the Note8 at all.

Note 9 hopefully adds fingerprint sensor under screen and moves bixby button to back of device or just slight lower.

I don't see it being much of an upgrade. It will likely have dual cameras maybe 6gb ram but from what I've read it will only have 4gb. Some are saying it might be out as soon as late Jan or Feb. Finger print reader might be on the front again but I'm thinking it will be similar in design to the s8 and Note 8. hardly an upgrade.

If the S9 returns to a flat screen like the rumors I have heard, it will be interesting to see if that makes a difference.

Hopefully the Note 9 has a flat screen then!!!!! I wonder if they will drop the cost of the phone too? Article to read about the cost. I don't want the phones to be any thinner though. I like a beefy device.
