Me, scuba diving. I love the peace of it. The calmness of it. You roll backward of the raft into the water, Entering utter silence. Can only hear your self breathing. Love it.

I love my dog. Why? Because when I am having a bad day after work and I see him with that silly face... I can't help but get in a better mood.

Well there are actually two things in this photo that I love but one is way more important than the other. My 2 1/2 year old grandson Weston. He's my little buddy and brings me much joy. He's attempting to play my 1971 Gibson Les Paul Custom which is my most prized possession.

I love Hops! They're a great looking vine, and I can use them in my home brew.
And I love free tablets too, of course.

I love this guy ever since me and my wife rescued him. We truly are lucky to have him.
He is quiet. barely barks and love being the 70 pound lap dog that he is.

I love my boys and traveling around the country.

For me, and please don't take this the wrong way, it's mushrooms (also other cool flora). I love hiking, and I and my family hike in rural Maine every year. It all started when I began noticing that along the trails (there isn't always much else to look at while hiking in a forest) there were dozens of different species of mushrooms. I began to photograph them with the phone I had at the time (an LG Optimus V with a 3.2 MP camera) and I collected a large number of really interesting mushroom pictures. A few weeks ago, I got myself a brand new Nexus 4 and so I was able to use that to shoot mushroom pics. In addition to mushrooms, this past trip I was able to see (and shoot) Pitcher Plants and Sundews, both of which are carnivorous plants that feast on stray insects (much like a Venus flytrap). Pictured below is one particularly colorful mushroom, that I photographed on a hike and really liked. Enjoy.

Picture of my Great Dane Zeus, he is my best friend and is always there for me when I need a pick me up. I have had him since he was 5 weeks old and he brought a lot of joy and happiness into my busy and sometimes frustrating life.20120219_204436.jpg

My son. He's #6 in the family. He has four older brothers and one older sister. Gotta love a sleeping baby...

Philip Rivers (and the San Diego Chargers). Despite the disappointment over the last few years, he still gives me hope every football week. Sure, he brings me anger too, but such is life. Love the guy for who he is on and off the field. He has so much passion for his job, is a great family man, and has gone his entire life without cussing. I wish I could go one day without cussing. Gives me hope that I, too, one day can have a job I am that passionate about.

I love this site, because it is truly impressive to see, and the fact that no one truly knows much of it's real purpose is amazing.
