I plan to use this phone to incredibly surpass the not-so-incredible powers of my aging, dented, and slow G1.

Managing the World, One Superphone at a time...

I am the Senior Network Engineer for a telecom company, in their internal IT department. We have about 30 domestic offices and a few international sites as well. I have to be able to manage all of these 30+ LANs as well as the WAN connecting them from any location, at any time. Microsoft 2008 Server, Core, HyperV, OCS, Exchange, Cisco IOS and CatOS devices, Servers, workstations, Executives, Road Warriors, Office Users, Developers, the list goes on ad infinitum. I need a phone - nay, a SUPERphone - that I can rely on to be fast, reliable, expandable, fast, useful, and did I say fast? All this and it must give considerable gadget-geek street cred.

In short, it must be INCREDIBLE.

With this phone, I will achieve all of the above, as well as ferry my growing family (did I mention I'm expecting a daughter next week?) around without getting lost evah (thank you GPS!), without endangering them or anyone else (thank you improved Bluetooth!), staying informed on any and all subjects I may have inquiries about (thanks Google!), with an app for that, that, AND the other thing (thanks Android Market!). Facebook, MySpace, Twitter? Got updates from all of them without explaining to my wife / mother / mother-in-law / anyone else tinkering with my new phone "How do you open it?"

If knowledge is power, them I'll be Three-Mile Island. Besides, everybody needs the right tool, and with this I'll have the gear to match the drive that got me the nickname Mr. Incredible! (that, or it's the red outfit...) :D

Omnia

I have a sad little samsung omnia that wishes he had the community that htc and android have. Luckily I was a able to find a winmo 6.5 root but it expires at the end of the month! Save me from having to flash my phone yet again and send me an Incredible please.

Twitter to save the world

I would use my new Incredible to tweet freely while at work without getting fired, possibly creating world peace in the process. Oh, and to entertain myself at the in-laws.

This would open me up to the "incredible" amount of applications that this great operating system has to offer. I know corny but I really want to win :o)

If I had the Incredable not only would my children finally respect me but I would have a spell check for words like Increadable

I would finally be able to have an official version of 2.1 that doesn't slow down my phone and kill my battery...thanks Droid Eris.

I need me an Incredible

I'm not going to make up some ridiculous things I'm going to do with this phone. The only thing I'm going to do is use for what it's intended and most importantly make by blackberry and iphone wielding roommates very jealous.:D

I would like this phone so I can travel across the US with the turn-by-turn direction and not get to lost. I would like to travel and visit most of the odd tourist traps as possible.

What I'll do ?

Simply I'll test one of my free programs, so that I'll continue to offer bug free softwares to the Android community !

In my list :

As a Developer, I am INCREDIBLY fed up with the closed nature of Apple's ecosystem, telling me which languages are INCREDIBLE, and which are not. If I win an INCREDIBLE, I'll have an INCREDIBLY better device to develop INCREDIBLE apps for android on, than my iPhone 3G which I would love to ditch!

With my Driod Incredible I'm gonna show all my iPhone using friends and say 'nanny nanny boo boo'. They'll be green (er, Droid Red perhaps) with envy for sure!

Storm 1 User

:eek::eek:
I have to be honest this is my first smart phone probably didn?t make a smart decision with the original Storm. Also, this is my first Blackberry; I enjoy the phone when I have enough memory. I?m not big on text-in but I on the internet heavy. Need a phone that can keep up.
Thanks

im stuck in the old maroon env2 that no longer can stay afloat due to crappy battery life.... Its only a year old and the web browsing is ancient history..............please help me!!!!

With a Droid Incredible.... I will be entertained in the bathroom while taking an INCREDIBLE dump! :) I'll also use it for many other things though haha

Be the super geek daddy.

  • I will use e-mail and logmein to work during child nap times, allowing me to still go out for adventures with the 1 and 3 year old to the zoo, science museum etc, without having to stay close to home for silly clent meetings.
  • I will document (image and text blog) the joy and antics of the 1 year old and 3 year old as we frolic on our daily adventueres. (for the enjoyment of the grandparents)
  • I will use the camera to track prices of key grocery items at our local groceries and mom and pop stores, (and share on my blog) (maybe I'll make an app so others can do this in an automated way too)
  • And I will program and open source at least one kick ass educational app programed for pre-schoolers. (for the android phone of course) (good enough to entertain the 3 year old for a hour subway ride to the museum)
  • I'll probably also use it as a remote control for my "TV" (aka the old laptop that we watch videos on)
  • I'll probably also use it for a remote control for a robotic Ukulele.
  • and I might use it as a development platform for a augmented realty video art piece.
  • occasionally I'll talk on the phone.

After making an incredible mistake buying the Eris, I would have a phone that truly runs the android os like it is suppose to run.
