Managing the World, One Superphone at a time...
I am the Senior Network Engineer for a telecom company, in their internal IT department. We have about 30 domestic offices and a few international sites as well. I have to be able to manage all of these 30+ LANs as well as the WAN connecting them from any location, at any time. Microsoft 2008 Server, Core, HyperV, OCS, Exchange, Cisco IOS and CatOS devices, Servers, workstations, Executives, Road Warriors, Office Users, Developers, the list goes on ad infinitum. I need a phone - nay, a
SUPERphone - that I can rely on to be fast, reliable, expandable, fast, useful, and did I say fast? All this and it must give considerable gadget-geek street cred.
In short, it must be
INCREDIBLE.
With this phone, I will achieve all of the above, as well as ferry my growing family (did I mention I'm expecting a daughter next week?) around without getting lost evah (thank you GPS!), without endangering them or anyone else (thank you improved Bluetooth!), staying informed on any and all subjects I may have inquiries about (thanks Google!), with an app for that, that, AND the other thing (thanks Android Market!). Facebook, MySpace, Twitter? Got updates from all of them without explaining to my wife / mother / mother-in-law / anyone else tinkering with my new phone "How do you open it?"
If knowledge is power, them I'll be Three-Mile Island. Besides, everybody needs the right tool, and with this I'll have the gear to match the drive that got me the nickname
Mr. Incredible! (that, or it's the red outfit...)
