There are so many reasons I am looking forward to getting my hands on this beauty! I cannot wait to have the ability to access the internet and social networks from my office (say what you will, but Friend Stream looks great!). Naturally the 6.6GB of storage will surely satisfy the needs of even a hoarder like myself. The Incredible is slim, attractive, multi-functional, damned near intuitive... but who am I kidding? What I am REALLY looking forward to is that AWESOME 8MP camera that will FINALLY enable me to send naughty pics to my boyfriend in the high-quality res he loves so much!!!

Maybe I'll actually have just one Incredible device that does everything and I can ditch carrying my *cough* iPod around as well!

I agree 100% And if there is a way to sync playlists from itunes on to this phone I will sell my ipod. The FM Tuner along with my music on 8GB internal memory is great. Not to mention the fact that Verizon is including an 8GB memory card as well. 16 GB of memory!!!! April 29th will be a great day! Once I get out of chemistry class I am heading over to best buy and picking up my phone...Full retail since my contract isn't up yet. Unless I win the contest for a free Incredible...Wouldn't that just be INCREDIBLE!!!

With this phone, I will perform the incredible feat of making my brother finally drop his AT&T contract and come and join the rest of the family! Seriously, it's incredibly lame that he is the only one not on the network, and we pay an insufferable amount to talk to ONLY him. And his phone is the original iPhone! Is that even credible? It's unfathomable! Once the Incredible is in my hands (which, admittedly, would be insurmountably awesome) I will sway my brother from his path (which seems inexcusable) and bring him into the fold (who's prices are unbeatable) to create a new bond of brotherhood (who's principles are indelible) and we will play ProjectINF (which is irreplaceable).

Good luck to everyone! This contest is incredible!

Volcano, Skydive, Danger, and Death if necesary

With my HTC Droid Incredible, I would use it's quality media functions to hypnotize a Pilot. I would then convince him to take me into the sky and fly me over Eyjafjallaj?kull in Iceland. And that point, I would be equipped with my Incredible, and a parachute, jump from the plane straight into the danger zone. I would proceed to take the most incredible pictures, and videos this world has seen to date of the ash cloud, the surrounding damage, and if need be to complete my feat, I will land inside the volcano, getting my chute hooked along the inside wall of the crater, where I could test the GPS, screen visibility inside an active volcano, and lastly, I can determine if the Incredible is capable of being a life saver.

I will just enjoy it's INCREDIBLENESS! (I am usually a loser at winning things, so I didn't feel the need to put much effort into this, but feel free to pick me as the winner because you feel sorry for me.)

Thanks.

incredibly just yesterday my girlfriend spilled a glass of water all over my old samsung slider. I have been looking into getting an android for some time now as i have several ideas for apps id like to develop. been using the emulators but really isnt quite the same experience. would be incredible upgrade my water logged hunk of **** to the new incredible and have a top of the line test bed for apps im working on.

cheers.
ps i wont let the clumsy girlfriend any where near this fine piece of hardware ;)

What will I do with an HTC Droid Incredible? I'll develop bigger, better, faster apps. I'll develop new games that aren't just cheesy ripoffs of existing games. I'll try out new apps without worry of my battery life or internal storage zapping away.

But most of all, I'll be able to showcase how powerful, fast, and beautiful Android can be, even in this world of iPhones, WebOS', and Blackberries.

Bara

lol... omg... SEE!!! Perfect example of why I need the Incredible in my life. I SUCK at multi-tasking... <<(say what you will, but Field Stream looks great!)>> . Must've had fishing on my mind? Hell, I have no excuse.

save the world

What is more nobel than saving the world. I will use my new droid to help win the war on terror. I am in the air force and the droid will help keep america safe.

The HTC Incredible will be the most INCREDIBLE phone yet that is on the market!!! The HTC has many wonderful features that will help me in the major planning of my dream wedding.... that is having all the amazing features the phone can offer! It will be one amazing phone will keep me from having some major anxiety attacts and being a major BRIDEZILLA!!!!

With the Verizon Droid Incredible I will be more powerful than a locomotive, able to leap tall buildings with a single bound

I will be SuperMan

Now that is a hard question right there. =\ Well what could I not do? I could run down the street naked, and be updating my twitter while Geo-tagging the famous landmarks I'll pass. I could use the Droid Incredible as a weapon to attack various iPhone users, but don't tease me. I could use for better reason trying to find out how my stock is, but be honest no one uses that. It could me help study my Law books, so I can pass the NY state bar so I could work with HTC so they can beat Apple. This phone is absurd. Droid Absurd nice ring too it right? But Everything I can't the Droid Does.

It would be Incredible to win a new phone. It would replace 3 devices for me. My only concern would be what phone this is. Everyone thinks it's Incredible, but what's its name? Oh well, guess I'll find out if I win this supposed Incredible phone. And when I do, my first internet search on it will be to find out "who's on first?"

drawing android on the world

I'm going to download seesmic, travel around the world to strategic places, geotag my tweets and draw the android robot on the world. And, go bankrupt in the process. Anyone want to donate?

i would use this phone to show all my apple iphone loving friends how awesome google, android, and htc really are. because they all need to know how awesome android really is.

Because I'm on Sprint I would perform an "Incredible" feat of charity and hand off the Droid Incredible to my good friend who's running around on Verizon with a freakin Motorola Razor!

Don't feel sorry for me though for being on a network that won't have the "Incredible" as I'll be forking out for the "EVO" once released. ;)

I'm a little jealous of you Verizon guys right now though! Enjoy! :)

<sob story>As a freshman in high school, I don't have the cash to get a great phone. </sob story>
I will use this phone to hopefully become an Android developer. I would like to learn Java and C++ and to develop a set of widgets that I have had the concept for for a while.
I will use this phone to show up many other people (3+ iPhones, 2+ Pres, 1+ Moto Droids, 1+ WinMo, 1+ G1); as I go to a math/science/tech magnet high school, there are a plethora of victims.
I will use is as a flashlight (my Moto-W385 has no camera flash)
I will use it as a camera (8MP=awesome)
I will use it to watch YouTube videos (480x800 will make for great viewing)
I will use it for Pandora (awesome on computer, even better on the go)
I will use it as a way to better experience Android (the Android emulator is worse even than the Pre emulator [I don't consider that being a traitor, still a Linux phone, that's the beauty of Linux])
I will root it and install custom software (can't live without sudo)
I will visit AndroidCentral daily and set it as my browser's homepage
I will attempt to tether it to my netbook
I will make phone calls (gasp)
I will avoid bad puns (forgive me if I missed any, it's quite difficult to avoid them [phew, dodged one])
I will continue to help others with their technology (around my house, I am the only one who can use the Wii, much less reboot the computer)
I will try to spend some time not on the device (I doubt it'll happen, but who knows?)
I will carefully guard the safety of my new device
And most of all, I will try to have fun (I'm a minor, after all, isn't that what we're supposed to do?)
Bonus reason: I have won exactly one give-away in my life: in 2nd grade, I won a copy of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory from the library. That is literally the only time I have won any of these things; I can't even win Monopoly or Yahtzee because they involve luck.
So yes, you could give this remarkable piece of engineering to an $80,000+-per-year IT guy who'll buy it anyway, or you could change a young boy's life!
