I, myself have a EVO, but my wife wants a EPIC so bad! She is ready to retire the Pre and move on to the great Android device and this is her choice...

Then she can hang out here on Android Central like all of us other cool people!

I've wanted an Epic since we first heard about it, as my Pre is on its last legs, but all the money I saved up wound up having to go towards rent due to unexpected bills.

Winning an Epic would just about make my life.

I bought my daughter the Intercept and I really love that form factor. Cracked the screen on my Pre and now it's useless, so was waiting for this to come out to use my upgrade. The Evo is nice, but I'm a physical-keyboard type. I'm barely getting by with a Rant! It's horrible! Please pick me! Pretty please.

My husband isn't due for an upgrade till december and while he gets by using my old hero he can't seem to keep his hands off my evo. If that isn't annoying enough he complains non stop about the lack of a physical keyboard on MY Phone. I think the Samsung Epic would be perfect for him and his blackberry keyboard loving past. Also I could finally stop wiping his extra wide finger prints off my phone.

I currently have a hero and am up for an upgrade in November. Torn between the Epic and Evo. The HTC Sense seems to be a little restricting. Maybe by November, there will be something super cool that I don't even know about coming out!!!

I NEED this phone so bad to get my GF off my back. She loves that it has the keyboard and if I can get this for her she will FINALLY switch to Sprint and save me tons of money.

In desperate need of a new phone

Yes, I would love to win the new Epic 4G.

I am a Sprint customer and am still carrying around a Treo 650. The antenna is loose, the casing is cracked, and only taking VGA photos is wrong.

Please help me get a new phone. This is how sad this situation is... my sister got an Android phone before me!!! My sister who barely knows how to check email!!

I have been wanting to get a new phone ever since the Palm Pre was announced, so if I could win this I would be a very happy person.

I have ALWAYS been a fan of a physical keyboard (that's why I opt'd for a Pre when it came out), but I have to admit I've been very happy w/ my Evo and Shapewriter.

I'm still intrigued by the Epic - not just for the keyboard, but also that screen and gpu! I think I'm going to have to swing by my local Sprint store today and check one out.

I'm hoping it's not as sexy as I'm expecting it to be though!

Happy with Sprint Hero but would love Epic!

I've got a Sprint Hero that's rooted with CyanogenMod (overclocking with SetCPU) and to be honest I'm very happy with it. I've looked at the Evo and was not that interested in it due to the size (my Hero fits on the screen of the Evo). I'd love to check out the Epic though.

I moved from the iPhone (user since the original 2G) to the EVO in June. I wasn't too impressed until I flashed Cyanogen Mod and experienced stock Android; and I gotta' say, the EVO + CM6 + Google Voice is a winning combination. I'm even in the middle of contributing back by making themes (Possible theme that improves upon stock HTC Sense / Swype Theme).

But man, MY EVO IS NOW DONE. The screen got completely destroyed today when someone bumped into me as was checking my email. I would seriously be happy if I were able to get back into the Android game with the Epic 4G.

Edit: FWIW, I may have a join date of August but I've been a member before today.

Regardless of whether I win or not, the Epic (barring some crazy issue like the airplane mode with the Moment) will be my next phone. The Hero was great for a few months, but the dated hardware really makes me suffer as a "power user." The Evo WAS going to be my next phone, but the Hummingbird is just a Snapdragon slayer with a killler GPU to boot. *drool*

This phone looks awesome. Been a Sprint Blackberry User for three years now but this phone with 4G would be enough to make me jump over to Android. Awesome looking phone with even better specs.
