This is my first time ever posting ..... Not because your giving away an epic, but because I'm frustrated and pissed getting this phone would definitely put a smile on my face but I love android and my current phone the Ego 4g, but getting this would be the icing on the cake.

Android envy!

Ok so I have a confession to make here...
I am a current Palm Pre user on Sprint and for the longest I have been feeling the Droid envy because while I love my Pre and all that I can do with it, it is just not all the glamorous. Here comes the Evo and oh man oh man I believed when it first came out I visited AC at the very least 3 times a day. The Evo was absolutely what I wanted and I had EVERY intention on getting it come October but I am not a strictly virtual keyboard user, never have been (coming from a Treo 700P to 2 Centros) I would just miss a physical keyboard way too much, but I was still very intrigued by the Evo. Then came the Epic! Talk about Android envy... If I thought it would help I would drown my Pre in my own saliva... I think I have drooled over the Epic just that much!

Now I visit AndroidCentral way more than I do PreCentral just because of the Epic and the awesomeness that is Android!

Any thoughts on moving my wife from the Palm Pixi to the Epic? She's a big fan of the hardware keyboard and likes a small form factor. My Evo scares her away, but I thought the Epic might work. Thanks.

I pick mine up tomorrow, but because my whole family is on the plan, only I get the upgrade, and my brother could sure as hell use something nicer than his crappy orange blackberry curve that sprint refuses to replace. If I win it, I'm giving it to him (and selling my moment), because good big brothers do things like that.

A friend just let me play with his. OMG it's awesome!

1) My Moment doesn't compare to this, the screen is better, clearer (even in sunlight!) and sharp!
2) 4G is FAST FAST FAST. Holy cow - a speedtest just gave me 9693 down and 1282kbps up?! WTF! Consistent, too - ran about 7 or 8 tests.
3) Runs as smooth as butter, better than an iPhone experience

This phone is awesome!!!! It has two camera's one for video calling...this is the main reason why I WANT this phone!!!! Mobile hotspot, 5 megapixel camera, the display is gorgeous, the vibrant colors. This will be the perfect phone for me...so even if I don't win this phone, I want one so I can video call my beautiful, first year college student (my daughter)....I miss her so much!!!
