I am sooo excited to get this phone. I've been drooling over it since I first found out about it. I am at the Sprint store in my area on 8/31, only to find out the store is sold out of Epics and was referred to buy them from Sprint.com or put my name on a list to be notified when the store gets more Epics. Bummer!

So I'll be patient and wait for it so I can finally make the switch from Windows Mobile to Android. I listen to the Android Central podcast religiously and am so excited to be able to use all of the wonderful tips/apps that I hear on the podcast.

Spent some time w/ epic at Sprint store and, while I love the form factor, the loose slider was a bit disconcerting. Brought back memories of the 3 Pre replacements I went through way back in 2009.

The more and more I see and hear about this phone, the more it makes me want one. I tested one out yesterday and I do have to say the screen was my fav feature.

The review of this thing was great, and it has imho the best feature set of any high end phone out right now. Even the little touches like the gorilla glass really make the Epic 4G stand out. My Moment is seriously lacking in performance, even though it is not as bad as the hero, this Epic phone would be a huge upgrade. I really don't want to wait another 1.5 years before I can get a new phone with a new contract.

Hey Android Central! -Epic 4G

Hey AndroidCentral! I just wanted to let you know that I LOVE your podcasts, I have watched every single one of them and have seen every video you guys have put up on YouTube. I would absolutely LOVE to WIN the EPIC 4G it would truly be epic since I do not own any android smartphones. I have only had the same Sprint red flip phone ever since it came out. I would take care of the phone since I have NEVER dropped a phone EVER! I would be an excellent choice to win the Epic 4G! Thank you guys for putting up this contest so I could have a chance at a smartphone.

If this embarrassingly true story doesn't win it for me, I don't know what will:

I'm a Luddite when it comes to cell phones. I've only owned cheapo Pay-as-you-Go phones, though I did own an iPhone 4 for a day & disliked it. (Love OS X, but hate iOS.)

Yesterday, I bit the bullet & bought a used Nexus One online. My first foray into Android territory. This morning, I was searching for an Android equivalent for an iOS fitness app, when my google search turned up this depressing quote from some research study:

"iPhone users have more sexual partners than Android..."

Christ on a crutch! I don't even have the phone in my possession, and it already knows I'm a terminally-dateless loser.

The Epic is a solid phone. I wish I could just spend a whole day with it playing games and seeing what all is possible with it.

NEED a new Epic 4g

My contract with AT&T expires soon and I cannot wait to switch to Sprint so that I can use this beastly phone. Originally I was going to switch for the Evo, but now that there is a top of the line android phone with a hard keyboard, I had to go with the Epic. Sprint + Galaxy S equals a huge win for me.

My wife just switched from an old BB Curve to the Epic at my insitance. She had to wait 2 weeks with a semi functional BB rather than getting the Intercept that day. She is glad I made her wait!

The Epic appealed to her do to the keyboard. I tried to talk her into an EVO but she wouldn't budge. I have to say in November I was planning on getting an EVO but I may have changed my mind...

Can't wait, hope i win, my wife is in desperate need for an android. Heck, my 3 yr old toddler needs an android, he is always taking mine and playing games with it. You know you have a very intuitive UI, if a 3 year old can navigate through menus, create/remove and rearrange shortcuts as desired.

This got to be a dream, and if it is please AC don't wake me up. i would love to win the EPIC so badly. Android phones are so amazing and open sourced, i really like that, so having a powerful and open phone like this would really change my life. AC rules, and Epic owns. and if i don't win, no hard feelings, i still thing you guys are freakin awesome. By the way i'm currently rockin a G1, so yeah i need an upgrade(with a physically qwerty key board).
