I joined just for the Epic!

I am currently a BlackBerry user and abuser but have been getting tired of not having the latest and the coolest technology. I mean stable and safe is cool but sometimes its cool to step out the box right?

I have my fingers and toes crossed, I would love to win this awesome phone. I have the evo which I love so much and my wife has the moment which is giving her more and more problems everyday. I think she would enjoy it tremendously and hopefully I get lucky. I know it would be a nice surprise for her. Thanks android central for all the great info and help I get in the forums.

Epic or EVO

I have seen Captivate. The ATT's phone was way too slow compared to my coworker's EVO. What's up with that? The Hummingbird CPU was supposed to be like twice faster isn't it? I hope that this is just the Samsung/ATT rom that will be fixed in the future.

I am going to get Epic however. I really love the hardware keyboard.

i decided to join for the contest, even tho i read the articles daily and recommend this site constantly. i've had terrible luck using samsung phones in the past, tho every galaxy s phone ive played with has been solid, and everyone i know with one loves it. the main draw for my interest tho is the gorilla glass protecting the screen. i cook and bounce at a bar and use my phone constantly at work. so far my htc hero has proved more durable than my boss's former iphone, 3g and 3gs, but then again it hasnt gone swiming or taken a drop off a 2 keg stack like many previous phones. about 36" onto concrete is the worst the hero has seen. i want to test the gorilla glass and see if it handles a bar fight in my pocket instead of being tossed onto the bar or to a regular customer for safe keeping.

Bring it on. I've suffered through using the Samsung Moment long enough, it's always behind the 8-ball. The Moment is good and all, it's just that had I known that it was never really upgradable to 2.2, I would have just waited until something better came along, and now those days are here. The Epic is the phone for me.

I want dis phone so bad but I didn't have da money for it so I had to settle for a crappy Samsung intercept which has terrible performance I would love the epic becausei wuld love using that super amoled screen for all da games I play and the movies I watch. I also would love the surround sound feature on the music player . But the thing I love da most from wat I see about the phone is its speedy performance without even having the froyo update !!!

I'm an Evo user right now so it will be interesting to see how the Epic 4G compares. I'm coming from a Mogul (I actually had to give it up so archaeologists could study it) and the things I can do with my Evo are absolutely amazing. I was reluctant to give up my physical keyboard so it would be cool to see what the Epic is really like. I think I'll swing by a sprint store once things aren't so crazy.

Waiting on Best Buy to open to go pick up my preorder... I hope that the horror stories I'm seeing in the forums aren't true for my area. I'll probably call at 10 to make sure they have them in stock. Can't wait to be off the pre

I would love to be able to get an Epic for my wife. I already own an Evo and like it much, but my wife is currently stuck with a Palm Pre (hates it) and wants to convert over to Android for a decent phone, but is stuck until next April otherwise. From what I have read and seen of the Epic, it sounds like it would be a great fit for her. Here's hoping someone may answer her prayers!

I think this cell phone will be the new standard and hopefully set the bar for competitive pricing for both services and the actual hardware. I look for to the next 365 days, every day is better and better in Android world!

This would be a great gift for my wife, she's still carrying her old Treo Pro. I keep showing her the pics and details of this phone and I know she likes it, but says "Can't spend money on that right now". Thanks for the chance on winning one Android Central!

I think this would be a great device for my wife. I love my Vibrant but she is still on Sprint.

The Galaxy S line is amazing. Im glad they are releasing on all carriers. I have a Vibrant and cannot say enough about the screen. It's amazing how well you can see it in daylight. The screen is among the best Ive ever seen. My work phone is Sprint, so I would love to swap out my crappy BB for and Epic. Thanks guys, great contest.
