I currently have the droid1 and it's not at the top of my list to get another phone, since I love the droid1. But if for some lucky reason I win and get the epic, I might do an epic move and let my droid1 RIP. And really I could use the 4G connection.

I would absolutely love this phone. It would be a great replacement for my myTouch. It was a great introductory phone into the Android world, but I'm ready to move on to bigger and better.. and EPIC things!

Well, I went and checked out the Epic last night and I've gotta say I like it. I only had a few minutes with it, but it just feels good in the hand. Everything is smooth with this phone. It took me all of my will power last night to keep from ordering it online. The wife's birthday and our anniversary are coming up these next two months, so I've gotta take care of that before me.

I'm new to the Android world. I got my son the Samsung Moment and soon after replaced my Blackberry with the HTC Evo. My wife has been eagerly awaiting the launch of the Epic so that she can replace her old Blackberry as well. She isn't eligible through Sprint to upgrade until October. I would love to surprise her with one before then.

Regardless, I've been enjoying all the info on Android Central. Keep up the great work!

BlackBerry Convert

What a way to begin my Android Central posting "career."

As a long time BlackBerry user, I find myself blown away by the Android OS. I recently purchased a used Droid Incredible and am loving every minute of it. However, to have an Epic 4G on a cheaper plan, aka Sprint, would be...well epic.

I'm actually kinda shocked that Sprint and Samsung released the Epic... we've all known about the Galaxy S for a long time but I had no idea that Sprint was going to get a version with a qwerty keyboard!! It was very hard for me to give up my qwerty keyboard on my Mogul when I went to the EVO but I really wanted a fast Android phone like the EVO. The Epic is the best of both worlds for me and now I'm bummed that I didn't wait for it. Oh well, if I keep waiting for the next great phone to come out I'd never get a phone hehe.
