I am looking forward to the whole ANDROID OS.

I will be coming from an iPhone 3G and still do not have ATT 3G service in my area. But I know Sprint 3g is available. So I cant wait till the 4th to get rid of this sloooooooow iPhone.

I think the best thing on this phone is the 1 GHz processor. This allows for the great resolution on the 4.3 screen, it allows for the great pictures and video by the camera, it allows for the smooth running apps, it allows for smooth processing of streaming HD video over 3G or 4G, it allows for outputing HD quality video via HDMI, etc, etc. Without the processor, this phone will not have smooth processing and will have lots of lag making all other functions\features pointless.

I'm opening a second line just to have a personal style phone that is great with multimedia..my BB will stay on my side but will be strictly business and emails!

Why do I want an EVO?

I would use the EVO for malicious ideas - being a mobile hot spot, I would venture to places around town and boldly announce that I am a hot spot and offer those around me to connect only conditions I set - I am to be reimbursed with some kind of free dessert if I'm at a restaurant, if I'm in a public park, request someone to find a snow cone to thank me with it, should I be at a movie theatre, hint that I can tell someone about how good a movie is by visiting the trailer on the superfast device I have and tell people to hop on my wi-fi and agree with my opinion.

Don't like my opinion? I shall renege your ability to get to my wi-fi service and have people around me use the social media options and applications to ostracize those people.

It would be used to inflate my ego and make those around me fear my awesome high-speed-internet-hot-spot-on-the-fly power. True, I already have the Sprint service on my Samsung Moment, but I would use this to bequeath my friends who have iPhone and snub me with my limited data coverage, for I can smite them down with my hot-spotted-ness!

You didn't think we'd let the Sprint Evo 4G launch without giving one away, did you? Here's what you have to do to win the biggest, baddest Android smartphone from the biggest, baddest Android blog:

Just reply to this thread and tell us what feature you're most excited about in the Evo 4G. Maybe it's the massive 4.3-inch screen. Maybe it's the full 1GHz Snapdragon processor. Maybe it's the 4G WiMax. Or the 8-device WiFi hotspot capability. Or the HDMI-out. Or the two-way video chat. Or the simultaneous voice and date. Or its ability to overthrow small nations (roaming charges may apply).

Tell us here, and we'll pick a winner on June 1 -- the Evo 4G will be available June 4 -- and we'll make you the coolest kid on your block.

Good luck!

Besides the snapdragon processor, which is becoming pretty standard on newer smart phones, I would have to say the biggest plus for me would be the beautiful 4.3 inch screen.

It's like a miniture (miniature) version of the discovery channel

What I like most about the EVO is that we all get to share the newness and discover how to make it do what it's advertised to do, and what it ain't. A whole new series of discoveries.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner

I am most excited about the Evo because I will now have a reason to join Android Central- so I no longer have to stew in jealousy at the excellent insights into excellent devices.

I'm also psyched about the dual camera's so I can take a picture of my brown, brown, nose. ;)

freedom

I like the freedom the Android OS offers, and the unlimited data plan for the WiMax on the EVO. And these are just a couple of things I do not have to worry about anymore.

I'm most excited about the 4.3 screen,wimax,8 megapixel camara, front facing camara, video chat, and just the whole evo experience!!!

I am most excited about 8-device WiFi hotspot capability. Most people can subscribe to broadband in their homes and enjoy high-speed internet access for their dohickeys (Xbox360, iPad, etc) but as a long-haul truck driver who spends about 330 days in my truck I don't have that option. With an Evo I can finally have high-speed for my Xbox360 and a Roku box is now finally a possibility.

I would like to have one to use as a wi-fi hotspot. My wife and kids would love to be connected to their ipad and ipod touch when on the road. (Me I am a android man.)

Real multitouch hardware. This is the only thing that really upset me about the Nexus One. A phone built around a touch interface needs to have true multitouch.

Pick one?!?
I'd say simultaneous voice and data as that is one of the main reasons I've stuck with AT&T despite my android lust!
Good luck on the contest everyone :D
