I'm most excited about the thing that separates it in the largest way, in my opinion, from other phones, which is WiMax, or 4G coverage. I'm excited to see how fast download/upload speeds are on the EVO because of it.

My first pick would be simultaneous voice and data, then the WiFi hotspot - this will be good for being online all the time if I need to use my laptop for any work while I'm on the go anywhere, screen size comes in the 3rd place it would be great device for games and watching TV, Movies, reading e-books on the go, and finally WiMax 4G, as it is still limited in availability.

Oh, another thing would be, as the Google TV is coming in the near future, this will be a very good device to deal w/GTV, and above all of that it will be a gift from my best Android forum on earth

My first thing is the screen. Coming from a MT3G being able to type with decently spaced keys will make my life a 100 times better.

I'm coming from an iPhone 3G and I'm excited for just about everything about this phone. It all starts with the OS though. I'm not going to make this an Apple smash fest, but I will say that in my 2 years with my phone I am simply not pleased with the OS. I feel like I have to work for it, rather than it working for me. And it drops calls 50% of the time. But other than that, the phone is nice. But Sense OS is what I want. The OS seems like its designed to work for me. Thats what I need. The 8 megapixel camera, cool. Front facing camera, cool. 4G, cool. 1GHz CPU, cool. Its all cool. The hardware is cool. But all this without a good OS is useless.

Can't wait.

Goodbye Pre and Welcome Evo....lution

I'm a Pre owner and this is the phone that I've been waiting for. Its fast, front camera and big screen are a few of the many features that get my attention to this phone and mostly see what Android has to offer...and I'm really impress with Android (Froyo) and I really have to let go of my Pre ( that honestly is not a bad phone but the market place is horrible) and enter the real Iphone Killer

I am stoked about the large screen, but moreso excited about it's computing power exceeding that of my 4 year old laptop and the phone having more capabilities than the laptop as well. I may yet erupt out of the dark ages...

What gets me excited about the Evo is the potential of gaming on a big screen tv thru mini-HDMI and using the 4.3 screen as a controller. Anyway anything is possible with Android.

The WiMax is a great feature.. but I also am looking forward to the HDMI out and HD capabilities. Now I can play HD movies and videos on any big screen right from my phone... sweet!

No question the hardware is just plain awesome. I think the most exciting thing about this device is what changes it will bring to sprint and other carriers.

You can't have a device like this and then let it go away quietly. To think something better will be not far after this is something to look forward to. But the EVO has all bases covered today in into the short future. Now the push is on for all the others to bring it!

The number one thing for me is the huge 4.3" screen! I am coming from a Pre (which I really like) which had a smaller screen even for its time so I am definitely looking forward to moving on up. Oh, and also the snapdragon processor.

I had the HTC HD2 I LOVED THE HUGE screen on it. Just hated Winmo. I am back with my nexus and really want the Evo so badly it hurts.
