...well: Everything. Right now I have the Blackberry Bold 9000 - I loved it, but now loathe everything about it. I'm excited for my first Android phone - the possibilities a phone like this presents. I'm excited for the large 4.3" screen with multitouch - which will completely blow away my prior trackball usage (screw Apple too). I'm excited for a processor almost twice as fast as what is in my Bold with the Snapdragon. Quite importantly - I'm excited I'm actually finally going to be able to use Google Talk without my phone restarting itself or freezing my phone. My Google Talk friends have been missing me on the road, and I've been missing at least 1 of them So let's get this going and get this won - I thank you!
I need to win the biggest, baddest Android smartphone from the biggest, baddest Android blog: Beacuse of 4G Capabilities, 1GHz Processor, Dual Cameras, and most of all, because it's NOT an iPhone.
To be honest I'm excited about every single feature this phone has to offer. Everything about it stands out and shines better than any other phone that is out! I'm Just excited about the phone itself!!
I'm really excited about the 720p recording/HDMI out, amongst the other awesome features. I'd be giving this phone to my girlfriend (I've got the Incredible). She has been wanting a HD camcorder for a longest time to record her family and travels. If I were to win it for her, we'll post a HD video taken with the EVO of her thanking Android Central of course! ^_^
I think all the features of this device are going to be crazy. If i win one i might be departing from crackberry just so that i can use the hot spot for my daughters, my girl friend, and my laptop. Good luck to all!!!!!!!
Im looking forward to being able to video chat over 3g or 4g. Sowhen im at work i can see my two year old daughter who loves to talk on the phone(yes im hoping to get two one for my wife also)
The entire phone itself is damn impressive... the processor is ridiculous, hdmi out is great, and the 8mp camera is amazing too. But for me, it's the screen and front-facing camera. With video conferencing available, I'm hoping that Skype releases a true "mobile" platform with vidchat. My best friend is moving to France in the fall for work; it'd be great to talk with him anywhere and not worry too much about the time difference
I'm gonna love the fact that Sprint FINALLY has a top tier phone and one that might even pull in subscribers from different carriers! I'm not gonna feel so bad about having as my carrier and having to defend my choice against not having an iPhone. Thanks AC & Sprint!
Everything about the Evo I want but what intrigues me the most would be the two way calling feature because if done right we could have a game changer. For instance fringe/Skype intergration would make it world greater to communicate visually with my family and I would would be able to see my nephew and niece (both of them were born around the same time but live on opposite sides of the US) without having to keep flying to see them. In the end it would be a money saver for me which for anyone should be a +.
