I definately love the large screen and the 1ghz processor. It's about time Sprint picked up a decent phone. Besides the ability to conquer a small nation is always a positive in a mobile device!

First time poster here. The two things I'm most excited about for the EVO are the video chat and the mobile hotspot feature. I thinks its awesome to be on a long road trip, and be able to share a mobile hotspot with those in the car, for iPods, laptops, and everything else. The video chat is great to keep in contact with my family. Very excited about this phone. Go EVO!!!

I'm happy that sprint has a phone that might get them to the top spot that they should have. I never has no bars and have fast 3g and it's very cheap. But that 4.3 inch screen with android 2.1 and sense makes this package are so tasty.

maybe even better soup. Yes that's right I went there.

The screen. Do you know what it's like to be frightened by a screen? When I first held the HD2 in my hand, the sheer massiveness of its screen spooked me. Match a 4.3" screen with Sense, and you have my new mistress.

My fav feature is to talk ISH to IPhone Fanboys!!!!!!

I can wait until i can walk up to my boys with iphones...... and say hey u want me to make your iphone faster using 4g hotspot LOL <thats a winner!!!!

Hello Android-heads. I'm a recovering WebOS-head. Although I do love my Sprint Pre, I think what has me most excited about the EVO 4G isn't so much the 4G, as much as it is all the things I've been wishing my Pre was over the past year.

Like I've already confessed, I was a bit of a WebOS evangelist for a while. Although there is much to like, there were definitely some things about the Palm devices that I found myself struggling to defend. There are three things, in my humble opinion, which I?ll be more than happy to be done with. They are as follows:

The Screen ? The color is great, the detail is great, the touch accuracy is ok, but the size for me is difficult to use. This is where the EVO outshines the rest! I absolutely cannot wait to show this thing off! I?m going from a 3.1" 320x480 screen (Pre) to the MONSTEROUS 4.3? 480x800 screen. It?s like when I finally got rid of my old Zenith tube and replaced it with my 50? plasma. This is just gonna flat out, rock my pants off.

The Speed ? WebOS has had issues with speed since its release. I overclocked my Pre to 800Mhz (500Mhz stock) which has helped, but it isn?t anything like I?ve seen with the 1Ghz Snapdragon. How about another slimily for ya; It?s like trading a Ford Escort for a Ford Mustang. There?s just no comparison. We?ll leave it at that.

The Apps ? I know this isn?t EVO-specific, but this is certainly something I?m excited about. The Palm App Catalog is growing but it just doesn?t have the volume that the Android market has. I also think that the Android platform is more conducive to richer applications.

At the end of the day, I'm a tech fiend, and by that I mean, I get excited when I hear 4.3" screen, 1Ghz Snapdragon processor, 8MP camera with 720P video capability, 512mb RAM, hdmi out, apps, apps and more apps! I can?t wait to get my hands on this thing!

Much love Android-heads! Can?t wait to be one of you.

For me it would have to be the ability to video chat (front facing camera). I am in a touring band and that would be amazing for keeping in touch with family and friends while on the road.

It's the trifecta of the 4G, 4.3 inch screen and android. The HD2 has the 4.3 inch screen, but flawed with WinMo 6.5 and is still selling out. Then you add on the front facing camera to the mix, along with the 8 MP camera? Hotspot capability? This thing specs out better than any phone out there.

The two things I am most excited about are one, the video chat . My son lives in LA and I am in Chicago. We will be able to chat as soon as LA gets 4G. The second thing is I can get data, navigation, TV etc. for what I was paying for a phone line with AT&T. Plus I am hoping to not drop as many or any calls with Sprint.
