LOL, I did think you'd let the Sprint Evo 4G launch and give one away, did you know that? Here's what I'm going to do to win the biggest, baddest Android smartphone from the biggest, baddest Android blog:

I'm replying to this thread and telling you guys what features I'm most excited about in the Evo 4G. It IS the massive 4.3-inch screen. It IS the full 1GHz Snapdragon processor. It's the 4G WiMax and the 8-device WiFi hotspot capability. The HDMI-out. The two-way video chat X-D. Also the simultaneous voice and date. Obviously its ability to overthrow small nations (roaming charges may apply). Most of all it will put my friends phones to shame...stupid friends.

So with that said, pick me as the winner on June 1 -- since the Evo 4G will be available June 4 -- and I'll be the coolest kid on the block.

IT'S MY EVO...AND I WANT IT NOW!!! X-D

I'm totally hyped up about the EVO. There are so many things I really want it for...but if I must pick one it would be ........... the 4G service. No more relying on stupid work internet that filters out all the fun stuff!

Screen + Kickstand + Speed

If you have a Palm Pre, as good as it "was", you know you need more speed. I am very excited for the EVO 4G so I can open an app shorter than 10 secs after I click on it. Also, the 4.3 inch screen will allow me to watch videos at work without finding a creative amount of junk to prop my phone up with from a DISTANCE! I want to include the OS also as seeing that android is smooth, simple, and very responsive with the right amount of apps.

I WANT THIS PHONE!!!!

HTC EVO 4G Winner!

This is just the nicest phone out there. The nicest feature I like using is the data access over 4G.

Wi-Fi Hotspot

I think one of the best features is the ability to use it as a hot spot for up to 8 devices. A lot of devices have had similar capabilities but none have gone to this extent. And the iPhone which has been saying that it will get this capability "soon" is falling farther and farther behind devices like these. good job HTC, constantly moving the smartphone industry forward.

Its all about speed, 4g along with the snapdragon, plus the big screen that is much better than the cracked one on my droid.......

Honestly I'm excited about every feature of this phone. The main feature would be the 4.3in screen. I use public transportation in Boston a lot and would love to watch movies on my way to work! Every feature (Wimax,hd out, router, front facing camera, snap dragon) puts this phone atleast one step ahead out of any other phone on the market. Best of all....its on Sprint! I could def use this to explore the city!

I would love it!

i have been a loyal palm customer for years from the treo 650 to the 755 and now wit the palm pre. I love the web os on my phone but ive tried android platform phones and im pretty satisfied wit using an android phone so the transition to the evo wouldnt be difficult. The evo has honestly been the best phone i have ever seen, i love the size of the screen, the 3g/4g speeds its capable of, the video chat application, etc. so i definitely going to get this phone. hopefully i can win this phone but ima get it anyway... sorry palm... lol

Actually, my take on this is probably different than most. I have never had "the cool phone" and have always taken the "free" phones when I upgrade. Currently, I am the not so proud owner of a Samsung Rant (however it is purple!!).

I began searching for a new phone realizing that I was paying 129.99 for unlimited and not really having a phone to utilize that power! What a waste of my money but there were no lower plans for my family. I then decided that I was going to look for a phone that could fully utilize what I have been paying almost 2 years. I looked at the Hero (and boy did I want it). I had never had a touchscreen, a smart phone or android - this would have been a whole new experience for me. Since I didn't have an upgrade, I was going to have to pay full price (doh!) and immediately hit up Ebay. Found what I wanted and offered the guy $500.00 for 2 of them - he turned me down. 2 days later I see an image on my screen (my sprint page) and its the EVO!

I drooled on myself (think I need a new keyboard) and began digging information. That led me to a plethora of forums to peruse. I have been perusing ever since.

Why would I want something that I have never used before? It is simple, it is a beautiful phone - I love the screen, the colors, the design, the capabilities it has for me. I will NOW finally have the "Cool" phone and can FINALLY shove it in all my friends faces when they are messing with their crackberries and Iphones. That, of course, makes it all worth while.
