From Pre, my first smartphone, patched and modded, to a Samsung Moment, an even better smartphone, flashed to 2.1 and rooted, to now looking for a HTC Evo 4G. Other than the obvious reasons, why do I want one? How about it's big enough to smash all the IPhones and their Fanboys at work? Damn straight, HTC for the set, Android for the spike and point!

I'm supposed to choose just ONE feature? Wow, this is going to be more difficult than I thought.

Although the 1GHZ Snapdragon process is impressive and the front-facing camera is sure to cause envy among those with inferior phones (Palm Pre, anyone?), and let's not forget that size really does matter with that 4.3 inch screen... I'm going to go with WiMax!

Not just WiMax speed alone but everything that comes with it... the improved web browsing, the faster downloads, and most importantly to me: simultaneous voice and data. Suck on that, AT&T!

So there you have it: WiMax ftw!

I'm mostly looking forward to using the front facing web cam for communicating with my girlfriend who lives 5 states away now no matter where I happen to be at the time. No longer tied to my computer for webchat.

Since I'm coming a palm pre I am most excited for having a super fast processor. The one in my pre is alright but I can't wait to not have to wait every time I want to open a new app on my phone. There are plenty more feature that I am very excited for in this phone since my pre is starting to feel very out dated.

Although the EVO has so many features that will lead the pack in cell phone developement. I believe HTC proclivity to select Sprint as the carrier speaks volumes... for this cell phone. Therefore, the best feature of this phone is the carrier which will allow the phone to expand all of its capabilities; i.e. 4G.

If I HAVE to pick of favorite, I would say the screen size...

As for other items that were in contention for my favorite, the HDMI, ANDROID (I'm coming from WebOS), front AND back facing camera, 4G, Mobile hotspot, HD quality, that its on Sprint's network, etc, etc, etc.
