I'm an OS fanatic. I write for OSnews (in fact, I wrote the whole site!) I'm a current Mac user, but I've been using Linux on and off since Red Hat 6.2, and I ran BeOS as my desktop for years. And this addiction to changing tech has now bled into mobile.
I'm in a position where I advise several dozen people on phone purchases, and I've yet to use a phone with Marshmallow. In the last 18 months, I've carried a Blackberry Z10, a Nokia 635, several Android phones (Galaxy S6, HTC One M8, Moto X, Nexus 5), and both the iPhone 6 Plus and 6S Plus. I also have a Chromebook Pixel, a Blackberry Playbook, a Nexus 9, a Nexus 7, an iPad, etc. I'm currently carrying, today, a 6S Plus and a Blackberry Dev Alpha B (running BB 10.3.1). And no, I'm not kidding. I can speak with authority on several devices, but not on Android 6.0.
I am drooling over the Nexus 6P. As a senior IT leader in my company, I live to talk about technology. I feel like a Nexus would be an awesome device to carry, learn about, and evangelize. I hope whomever wins appreciates the beautiful hardware and the nuanced OS that it runs!
