Certainly. But based on the video comments as well as Elvis' experience, you can be in the area but can't get there as quickly. And even then, finding it at the site is a bunch of luck too. It often looks like in a bunch of the videos that there's a decent crowd as well and it's a crap shoot if you don't find it immediately.

The other thing is the site location. It all depends on what the local site has to how well it's hidden. San Jose had flowers everywhere. Philly was just outside under a menu. Big difference in the hunt.

Oh yeah, really big difference. But this is maximizing your odds the best you can. You narrow it down so that, unless the person is sitting AT the place, you'll probably get there first or second (as in my case). After that, yeah-- it's a lot of luck.

But everybody who came in after me looked in all the spots I had already looked, allowing me to simply move on while they wasted time. Although luck IS a really big part, this helps you get there relatively quickly so you can start looking first.

I'm watching the Rochester one. There aren't many popular places in Rochester. The coordinates take you right to the center of the city. Hopefully the coordinates will change after tonight's update.

I heard from a friend who works at VZW that the SA one will have something to do with the RiverWalk and those boats, he was indicating it could be on a boat actually with changing GPS coordinates to throw us off initially... *shrug*

I am going after the SA one also. I have heard that it will be 'inside' somewhere. And possibly downtown, but they want to put it somewhere with free parking. Those scans and numbers, and location maps online are all smoke and mirrors. It is random and up to the San Antonio Verizon Planner. But again, this is all hear say what I've been able to get from some friends at Verizon.

Hey guys, I know that you don't want much competition, but has anyone narrowed down the location for Atlanta? I haven't been able to figure this out like you guys. Any help would be appreciated. It is time to trade out the OG droid, and this might be the one!
