After dropping my Eris and breaking the screen, I'm stuck using a loaner Razr. A new Incredible would be just incredible!

LG Venus

My phone is the LG Venus. The phone no longer locks, so it constantly calls people randomly, puts speakerphone on randomly, and answers phone calls from my pocket. I've replaced it twice through warranty. Honestly I should have just gotten a different phone. Oh, it does have a touchscreen, but it could barely be called that. It's just the bottom part of the phone, and it is only four buttons. I'm dying for an incredible!

Thanks.

I'm still using a Razr for gods sake....I need this phone like you wouldn't believe, I had a Moto Droid but my son dropped it on the concrete talking to his mom when I took him on vacation to grandma's :(

Taking one for the wife

My wife and I both had the BB Pearl. I talked her into trading it in for a BOGO Free Storm. Since I wasn't eligible for an upgrade yet, we opened a third line just so I can have the Storm. She hated it from the start and told her it will take some time to get used to it. She never did, and my experience with the Storm soured as the months went on. Because of my selfish decision, I decided to let her trade in her phone to the BB Tour using my upgrade option when the time came. Needless to say, she is happy and I am not. I would love to finally rid myself of this storm and get something that is incredible and makes sense to U and I.

Chocolate 2. But it wasn't always like this. I upgraded to the Droid in December. Best phone I've ever had. But stupid me dropped my phone in the toilet...ON NEW YEARS!!! So since then I have been stuck with this Chocolate 2, which has been dropped more times than an Att phone call! It looks like a dogs old chew toy. My t9 mastery has lead to the # key (among others) to be almost unrecognizable. And the stupid touch buttons barely work half of the time. I had to buy another battery off of ebay which sticks out the back of the phone, making it look even more ugly, and it still barely lasts a day. I have been trying to find anyway I can to get this INCREDIBLE phone, but it looks like I'm stuck buying it outright. Unless the luckiest day of my life happens and I win one!

Well I'm currently using a Droid Eris, what makes this phone so bad you ask. Well my previous phone got ran over my a car, my fault really but long story. Well the rep that I bought my phone from didn't put the insurance on when I asked for it so when I called Asurion they were confused and couldn't help me. I then had to call Verizon and go through a big fiasco just to get them to send me an out of warranty phone(which I wasn't out of warranty just only thing they could do I guess). So I received a refurbished phone which was fine by me because a phone is better than no phone. I received the phone but with no battery cover! I called tech support(on several occasions) they(VZW) is out of stock and have been for over 4 weeks and I refuse to buy a $32 dollar battery cover from HTC when the one from VZW costs $14. Yeah got me too. But this Droid Incredible would be a nice fit to replace my "jank" Eris!

winning a droid

Brand new poster here. My crapberry plan has been up since early March and ive been lookin at this site since reading all i could everyday about this new incredible phone. If i don't win it Im buying it. either way on the 29th I will be converted to the andriod world...Cant wait!

I want the droid incredible!

I have the Droid Eris - though it is pretty awesome being an HTC product, I love researching cell phone technology and I spend a lot of time doing so, because of this I like to have my technology up-to-date and I'd be able to do that with the Droid Incredible. (:

I'm still using an old LG (CU720) that I've had for 2 years. It was never that good to begin with, and it hasn't worn well - plus it's on ATT, so it predictably drops calls at the same spots on my way to or from work despite showing full bars!

Bonus points - my wife is using a 3+ year old Moto RAZR. Time to join the 21st Century!

I have Blackberry 8900.
Have you ever tried to surf the web with BB browser?
Did you ever have to do "battery pull"?

If you did, you know I need this phone :)

I have a Droid and I love it. But with my luck they had to come out with all these snapdragon phones like two months after I bought it. Off contract no less. So here's hoping I can finally do away with that buyer's remorse!

I was involved in a car accident on Thursday evening that claimed the life of my Motorola Droid resulting in the reactivation of my old UT Starcom / Verizon XV6700!

Long story short, the Droid was on the center console of my car when I was struck from behind (by an uninsured driver!). The impact sent the Droid screaming into the dash knocking the battery out of the device and if that was not bad enough, my coffee (which was sitting in the same center console) decided the Droid needed a caffeine enema to help recover from the unexpected encounter with the dashboard.

Luckily all occupants (save for the Droid) walked away without serious injuries but now I am stuck using my XV6700 with the data disabled due to the insane rate Verizon charges for data services on legacy devices!

I've got an old lg chocolate, you know, the one with the navigation wheel on it. The wheel barely works, and every time I accidentally open up it's fake little web browser, I get dinged by verizon. It would be nice to not have to worry about that any more.

I have an old moto rizr Z6tv with all these software/firmware issues. The phone randomly reboots when I'm using it, whether navigating the menu system, or simply sliding the phone closed. It's really frustrating.

My sorry old phone is a BB Storm 1.

Reasons it is sorry:
1. No significant applications like Android or iPhone.
2. No internal memory. I have very few apps installed (see point #1), and the internal memory must have a leak of some kind. When I do a battery pull it jumps up to 38MB... and by the end of the day is down into the 20MB range. I've gotten as low at 5MB but the phone is practically unusable by then. This is the biggest issue by far.
3. Text selection is horrible. I had to use a leaked OS for a long time for it to even be usable... but even with the changes it is really difficult to move to a different point in the text (to delete a wrong TrueType word, etc.)
