The same old story

This one is a random drawing so I'm not too worried about it, its all about luck .. but like so many others, i have the Tour, with the latest Verizon update on it, so I can hardly click in the native browser and the crippled the volume on my bluetooth headset so its nearly unusable!!

BOOOO to Blackberry Storm

I am still using the original Blackberry Storm. This phone sucks...hard. The internet is slow as hell, there are no apps worth talking about and the thing freezes or needs a restart everyday or more. Please, please, please give me an android....

I am still suffering with the daily torment of battery pulls and java errors from my horrible Storm 1 9530. Do I really need to give you any more details as to how awful this phone is. It should be called the horrible, because it is the complete opposite of the Incredible.

I am using a palm pre- from sprint. it takes 30 seconds to load google maps. doesn't sound like a lot of time? try explaining to people why your "smart" phone is acting so dumb. oh and in order to prevent the phone from slowing down to a grinding halt, I have to restart it everyday.

I would like a Droid Incredible please! Can't wait to get rid of this Motorola Razr! This college student would love to get into the smartphone world!

My sorry old phone is not that old but is pretty sorry. I have a Blackberry Storm 9550. The browser is horrible and the OS is ancient. I take a lot of pictures of my kids so a 8 mega pixel camera would be huge. I also use my phone like a second computer so a good browser is important.

I upgraded to the droid - droid fell into toilet - reverted back to lg flip phone from 2005. My productivity has fallen offf the map and I'm struggling to get things done. I miss android more and more with every passing day....

so... the "sorry old phone" that i am currently stuck with is a lovely enV Touch. I am on phone #3 of this model. and now the "Certified Like New" replacement device is becoming worse than the first 2. This replacement's overall screen resistive touch sensors are misaligned. there is NO way to get it aligned properly in order to get the touch to work properly. I have tried using a stylus, pen cap, my finger, anything to get this thing on track, and its just flat out broken. When using the phone's number pad to attempt to dial 0, it presses 2, without fail (read: which is full of fail). I have been longing for a smartphone for some time now, and with business at work cranking along, and a crazy school/work schedule, i know the incredible will fit right in.

please, pick me!

Thanks.

That's right, we're giving away a second Verizon HTC Droid Incredible. And you can (and should) enter both contests. (Here's the first contest.)

To win in this thread, tell us about the sorry old phone you're currently using. We'll pick one post at random Wednesday morning, and get the phone shipped off in time to reach you on launch day. Good luck, everybody!

I'm on Sprint and I'm waiting on the EVO and once I receive my EVO the wife get's my Hero and we can rid ourselves of the Pre's we bought just under a year ago. So the Incredible wouldn't be for me, but for my dad. He's got a sorry for an excuse LG EnV and this thing is just shot... It was his birthday this a few days ago and we all got him a few things, but how about a belated birthday present like the Incredible.... Talk about some brownie points huh! Thank for the consideration!

I've got a three year old 8330 blackberry curve that was a hand me down from my brother. Before my brother knew he would be handing it down he became rather careless with it and as a result the screen is extremely scratched up, so much so that it is almost impossible to read with any lights on. I'm also fairly sure it received water damage at some point because it will just go on the fritz and shut off at random times. I'd love to win a droid incredible so that i could actually have a phone that is usable and can help keep me organized in college

My old phone...

...isn't so old. It's a Droid and I love it. So why post here? Because my dad, who has never owned any kind of smartphone, has just been told that he needs one, and most likely an Android phone at that. My plan is to let my Dad choose just what he wants. The Droid or the Incredible. He really likes the Android OS and I know he'll like either vanilla Android or Sense. Help me make a convert!

My current POS phone is an LG enV2, which does not much of anything. I suppose it could maybe view a couple of text based websites, if I had the data plan for it. But what's the point? It has a crummy, very small display.

The Incredible will be my first smart phone. And what a phone to get for my first smart phone!! And it would be even sweeter if it was free. Pick me guys!! :)

Currently using a Blackberry Storm 1 launch unit. I just love how with most apps I have to battery pull and reset the device every day just to get the application to work. I also recently obtained a Google Voice account, which I am loving. Of course the Blackberry Storm is not really responding all that well to the change, including not even having an app out for the Storm specifically. If there is something I want to do with the device, I have to go find a paid app that does it, since of course the Blackberry OS doesn't have that integrated into its core OS. I use Google services all the time, and the only thing it seems to work reasonably well with the Android kicks its butt in three ways from Sunday! Blackberry Messenger would be cool, if anyone else I knew had a Blackberry. It just doesn't do what I need it to do, the clicking is quite annoying, and trying to type anything results in a spelling correction from what I spelled correctly to jumbled garbage. Its time for a change to something Incredible, the DROID Incredible.

I am using a Casio G'zone Boulder, it has been a decent phone for a "dumb" phone but I am tired of all my friends having the cool phones so I started researching smart phones last winter when my contract was up. Almost jumped on the Palm Pre, very happy I didnt. The Incredible is the phone I have been waiting for.
