I'm currently using a Samsung Omnia running Windows mobile 6.1.

PLEASE award me the new Incredible! My wife has an Eris and is constantly telling me how much more incredible her phone is than my Omnia. She didn't have to hack the OS to death like I did just to make the phone useable. She can get to a Facebook update in a quarter of the time I can. She can pull up the weather before I can even load my browser. She'll ask me to scan a barcode in the store... and then say "oh... yeeeahhhh...you can't! Here... let me show you what a real smartphone can do". Her GPS, yep... it works in the garage with the doors shut. Mine... if the planets are in alignment and I hold my tounge just right for a little more than 5 minutes, I MIGHT get a GPS lock. Unfotunately, right after I get that GPS lock, my battery will go dead because I've had the phone off the charger for more than 5 minutes.

Please, oh tech gurus, rid me of my Samsung Omnia and help end the spousal abuse! I will be forever grateful!

I'm not sure many people can beat my sorry excuse for a phone. It's a Verizon SMT5800, which is actually made by HTC (believe it or not) and runs WM 6.1. Verizon has replaced the phone 3 times already for various troubles. Even now the phone will lock up occasionally for no reason. I'm just tired of dealing with it. For almost 2 years I have been dealing with this POS and I'm more than ready to let it go. All these Android phones have me drooling but I'm still under contact for another month and cash is tight right now.

Battery life? Forget about it. With the data plan you really need an extended battery. Now the thing is an inch thick almost. When I put it in my pocket people always think I'm happy to see them. Not sure what that's all about. :)

I still have a 1st generation LG chocolate from 2006 that I have been using since it came out. It has been extremely good to me for a long time. I know how to make phones last. However as of the past 4 months the phone has not been working correctly, I cannot make outgoing calls or recieve them. When people call I can see it on the screen but can only text them back it sucks. the only thing I am able to do is text. I have refused to get a new phone for the whole 4 months because I heard about the incredible a while ago and had to have it. I Think I?m Ready For A New One, Don?t You?

Of course I have a Storm 1 from Blackberry. From the looks of this thread, a lot of people are moving off of that platform.

The phone I'm using has a chin that protrudes more then jay leno's, If thats not reason enough I don't know what is.

My "sorry old phone" is a Storm. Time to move past the BlackBerry OS, no WiFi, and the terrible browser.

my sorry old storm

I've had the storm since release day. Can't wait to get my first android phone if I win.

I have the first Blackberry Storm, thinking that it would be like the iPhone... no such luck! Hahaha! It is nothing but trouble and I have to do a hard reboot on it daily. I am so ready for an HTC Incredible. :)

I should win an Incredible because I have been using my blackberry pearl 8130 for years. It has been dropped repeatedly, including once in a paint bucket. After a thorough washing, and a couple of weeks in cat litter, the phone was once again usable. The screen still clearly has water damage, the plastic screen protector slides completely off, the speaker is garbled and I can barely scroll up. All in all, it is a disaster that only something incredible will solve.

A rather sad old Samsung flip phone, the kind Verizon used to shove through slightly rolled-down car windows just to get rid of. Not sure if Samsung even bothered giving it a model number, since they certainly didn't give it much of an interface.

My little LG

My "sorry" phone is a little LG chocolate. Would be nice to enter the 21st century and be able to text like everyone else. No more hitting the same key multiple times depending on the letter 222,2,66 = can!

Would love to get rid of this buggy Palm Pre Plus... Actually, the phone is ok, but the keyboard double types all over the place...

Blackberry Toured!!

Im a long time member of the Crackberry forums having several Blackberries. Most recently I have a Blackberry tour which I use for work. Solid phone but the OS is a little outdated. Besides that it has some many battle scars that folks many of it all the time. Time for a replacement and that incredible just looks so good?

I've been using my sorry little LG Dare for a while now. At the time of purchase it had been hyped as a potential iPhone-killer, and since I didn't want to join the Apple crowd, I swallowed it hook, line and sinker. Funny how even CNET did a Prize-Fight video of the Dare vs. the iPhone. Guess who won?

Jump forward several months, and the Dare has disappeared from Verizon's ordering page, and people on fan supported forums are scratching their heads wondering when and where the next bug patch will be coming from. Even Verizon stores didn't know.

In short, I (and other Dare users) will be glad to be rid of this future paperweight.

My sorry old phone that I am currently using is a Samsung Omnia. It was great for about the first month or so. A real pain to make an actual phone call.

I'm using a Droid and love it but I would love even more to upgrade it to the HTC incredible. I got the Droid because I wanted touch screen AND a physical keyboard but the physical keyboard on this is garbage! I think I'll use the incredible and give my friend the Droid. His phone is a broken LG voyager where the inside screen is broken and he has to guess that what he just typed was right. It's just so incredibly tragic!
