Let's my son explore from the comfort of our house. Looking around under the ocean.... Riding a rollercoaster or going on a Safari. Even got him a bit nervous when we walked right up to a T-Rex in the middle of his lunch. Just amazing to see a three year old's reaction to VR!
You can explore places (sites of interest) and building (architectural or, why not, when buying a house), a real immersion tour.
It can also boosts the gaming, all to a new level!
I'm looking forward to the eventual full-dive game system where you can become totally immersed in the game you're playing. It's gotta start somewhere and VR for mobile phones seems like a great place to start to reach the widest audience. It also makes it much more affordable since you don't have to buy the an additional device since you already have one in your pocket.
What I'm personally excited for is that with the VR technology, I'll be able to watch my vast collection of cat videos while using my cat as a prop. Life just doesn't get any better!
VR really excites me because as a busy Mom of 4 very active kiddos, a VR vacation is about the only vacation I will get. I would love to have a quick "escape" to a tropical location every so often!
