VR isn't just fun , it can take us to a whole new world...a world we , as kids only dreamt of . It's going to be the next big thing . It excites me so much because all my life , I've longed to play the characters we see on tv and in games, in real life. VR is gonna take me closer to my dream. It's already being used by companies , but to make it available to the masses would definitely be great

There are a few things that have me excited about Virtual Reality. I'd love the experience of watching a movie and feeling as though i'm in the movie. visiting worlds i knowi 'll never be able to visit for real, like another planet or the moon. Creating massive, elegant forms of art around me and being able to see t in 360 degree manner like in a museum. Heck, visiting a musuem in another country from my living room, like the Louve. That's what virtual reality is for. Experiencing things you wouldn't normally ever get to experience in real life. plus that movie Minority Report was really cool. VR is a step in the right direction for those experieces too.

My One X died and I'd love an upgrade! I'd like to see the world with maps and VR, assuming that that's possible.

ULTRA PORN!!!

Or in reality, I would say the biggest piece is engaging in the evolution of tech. Whether it is porn, games, videos, or just video communication, ulitmately all of these are things that will be impacted with time. Being able to see and experience that next frontier this early in the pattern would be amazing.

Wow.

Where to start?

I come from the generation that loved 3D movies as a kid, and seeing VR (and 3D in general) make a comeback tends to make me flail wildly whilst squealing. What can I say, when I get excited, I get really excited. I'm interested in seeing everything that the VR can do, from general apps, to movies and television shows, to how developers will react to being able to build for VR.

Having movies take up my vision without having to go to a theater would be amazing. The real one with cideos that I'd be excited about however, is when it comes to my TV shows. Orphan Black on a mega screen where I can every minute detail? I'm twitching in excitement from the mere thought.

There are just so many options with what is currently available, not to mention what is yet to come. I'm excited to be able to experience things that I thought had gone away in the 90s never to return.

Also? I'm super exciteable, which means if I win, I'll bounce around like a rabid bunny which is always hilarious.

Or so i've been told.

To project a VR version of real life through the VR and live solely through it. Like living in a video game.....wohoo!!

The fact that there are no wires is what excites me about smartphones and VR. It makes much better sense to have freedom of movement than to be tethered to a console or a pc when using VR.

VR for smartphones could become awesome. Travel / vacation apps (trip advisor, kayak, cruise lines) could utilize this to make extremely detailed, immersive and interactive applications. It would be like you get to be in your hotel room before you book it. Or places like Disneyland could use this to advertise rides. Just strap it on your head and take a spin on the Matterhorn. Could be very cool.

I think the opportunities for showing interiors of museum pieces (imagine looking at the engine of the car without opening the hood) will spark additional creativity.

The thing that excites me the most about VR is the probable development of tools for training in things like first aid, emergency response. Maybe it will also help with future UX design, as in, it can possibly change the way we interact with computers, which will be a revolution since we pretty much have been interacting with them in the same way.

On a personal level, I would love to use it explore far away places in an immersive fashion, see places I can't go, etc.
