Haha yeah I know they should be the same. What I meant is that they are essentially the same on the inside too. I openes them up as txt files to view and they had essentially the same keys, codes, and corresponding actions. They looked identical.

I tried 3 or 4 different Gapps that I found around the web. Only one even showed market and it would only pop-up and sy I needed to add a google account but when I tired to add one the app was just gone.

Yeah, therez a thread over in the OV forum about it, we are just over here because our ics hasn't been released yet for us. We are just anxious, rom-greedy, impatient optimus v owners and we just wont wait for ics to come to us.

It is not exactly easy to switch between, but follow this link for the method to jump basebands to zvh.

To revert back to zvd if you want to go back to cm7 use this.

Just some input:

I saw a few pages back that some guy erasing his dalvik cache and regular cache allowed him to only receive text messages upgrading from cm7.

I decided to install kraven's cm7.2 and dirty flashed to this rom. I can confirm that I can send and receive text messages. =) No data, though. xD

How's that possible? CM7.2 IHO is ZVD-baseband, and this CM9 rom is ZVH-baseband. There would be a radio mismatch.

Did you upgrade to Gingerbread ZVH, THEN flash CM7.2 (radio mismatch here), and THEN flash CM9?

there is an incomplete zvh cm7 ROM with no a broken radio. maybe he used that.

My radio doent work at all coming from zvh... im on hyper rom right now and it says my baseband is mvh not zvh.

Edit: I just realized it might not be working because i went from the zvd baseband when i did kravens 7.2 rom. Is this correct?

Edit2: just to clarify i went from stock zvh to zvd(7.2) to ics and i had no radio zvd or ics

But other than that it was the fastest os ive had on my phone

When i went to stock gingerbread yes. after no.

I used Xionia to install Kravens and this ics rom
