Wireless charging, who else is excited?

Got a link? I have this feeling we won't be seeing the actual Google version for a while now which is weird since companies usually make tons of money on accessories.

Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2

They also have a triple station the price difference is minimal

Just search. "qi wireless charger" Done.

OP, don't get excited about the $5 touchstones- they almost certainly won't work with the N4 (although to be fair I don't believe we've seen the results of an actual attempt yet). They were originally around the $50 price point and are only so cheap because all the handsets they work with are now extinct :'( - in the unlikely event that someone finds a simple way to make them work with a N4, I'd expect the touchstone prices to jump considerably!

I'd expect the official charger to be around $50 - but given how aggressive Google's been on the handset price maybe we'll see 30?

And I love the fact that it's using a standard- I expect to see lots of compatible chargers in the next year or so- encouraging more handsets and in turn more chargers.

Yes if i can find a cheap charger, however i know it wont be a common thing for awhile.
It will be great the day that the wireless pads are everywhere.

I still have two Palm Pre touchstones sitting around. I'll be trying out compatibility with my Nexus 4 as soon as it arrives. Figure it's worth a shot. Worse case scenario....I set it on one, see no charge, and taken it off immediately.

After reading Phil's write up on the homepage, my idea is a flop. Blimey

I like the concept of wireless charging. This is something I definitely want to try once I get the phone. I do have to wait a few months, though, so I'll have to chance to see what folks things about it in real practice.
