Wireless ear phones

Yeah , i just mess with stock equalizer in gear app and been good.

I've tried it both ways... like you're using it with the PowerAmp equalizer off and the Wearables EQ (on/off).
Sorry, but the hard way sounds better... mustang7757 PowerAmp is your destiny ;)

Android, just play with it...

I will warn you PowerAmp is a handful. To dialed it in will take a solid chunk of time, but it is very customizable. It taught me some new curse words but taught me some cool new tricks.
Commit and dive in; it's the only way with this app. Once you learn it's layout and functionality it's not bad. Very stable.

This app uses almost no resources if running in the background. It's accessing a system setting that normally isn't accessible judging by how it effects the sound. Set up an equalizer profile on it. Toggle its on/off switch off. Close the app window. Play some music as you open the app again. You should hear a difference even though it's still toggled off. That's how behaves on this device. I'm going to see if I can track down what it's doing. Either way an interesting apk.

Ok so not going be interested, thanks for the heads up

The trial version is even more of a pain. Trust me on this.
You won't find a better full featured music player out there for HD throughput.
Took me a couple days and a lot of reading to get up to speed. You get what you put into it.
So if you won't invest the time it takes, don't even start.
Personally I want what it has, and the effort was worth it.
If there was a music player that could out perform this one... it be loaded.

Poweramp used to be huge. I used to use it a few years ago. The issue is most people don't store music on their phones anymore. Everyone just streams from Spotify or another service. So Poweramp is most likely not useful to most these days.

I use both stored files and streaming services. The stored music files I use are Hi-Res FLAC files which are far superior with good headphones but streaming is good enough depending on the situation and if course greater variety.

I actually think I'm the only person in the world who hates streaming and still has music files on my phone. Lol

I don't hate streaming. I have Spotify Premium, but I also keep all my music on an SD card as well. But most people I know, and from what I've seen on various forums streaming is the more popular option in general.

I see your point and it's valid ... but I'm not like everybody else.*
Many people lack a large CD/HDCD (or higher) collection ripped to hard drive as .wav or higher files.
I went sort of hog wild with it in the 2000s.
Having direct drive access is superior; if no internet, I still have the music I want. No cut outs, no data usage and better control options. No one can cut the my service.

PowerAmp for me is yet another step in my evolution from the dark ages of the fragile Walkman.
I don't take my portable music for granite.

Unless I can rip HDQ tracks from it, online sources are worthless to me.
OK to sample something, that's about it.
I have a few MP3's but they're throw aways at best.

*Much to the horror of some. More so in person.
