With rumored S-Pen support on the S21U, is this the last Note model??

I hope they keep improving on that level of zoom , I like it and understand it's not best quality for pictures but still :)

That's just kinda my point. A 2000 dollar phone which is way over priced in my eyes cant even deliver the best phone and camera specs.....I respect the innovation but not at that price when it cant deliver outstanding results...

Doesn't the Note have a Find my S-Pen feature?? I think it can at least notify when the two separate too far. I'm definitlely with ya, I guess I can keep it in my backpack but wouldn't want to have to go fishing for it.

Not sure I'd buy it cause I really haven't used mine much at all. I have an iPad 11" Pro and haven't bought a pen yet because it wasn't the main reason I bought it to upgrade my previous Air2.
No find SPen feature because SPens can't vibrate nor beep.

You referring to the fold or Note?

It's not $2000 phone that is meant to have the best specs for now... I understand why people say it but that's not where this foldable is right now... There are other things bringing this price point up including future development... You can say it's not worth it to you. Yes.. But it sure is solid device for many people including myself you had no issues ditching the cash... There are plenty of happy people that joined this second generation FOLD... AGAIN there are many phones people will say are not worth the price... Different strokes for different folks..

In the end, if they killed the Note and you still wanted a pen, you basically have no choice and will go to the Galaxy S Series and get the pen.

They're the only game in town. Samsung really doesn't lose out here.

There are two budget phones with stylus.

LG Stylo 6
Moto G Stylus

No they can't do what an Spen does. I like some Spen features. But they have the stylus available.

I don't think there's any other options. And maybe Apple will come out with the Mini pencil on their next phone that some wanted this year.

But Samsung has a lot of phones with different price sets for different people. I hope and don't want to see the end of the Note line.

The Fold phone...
Yeah , I don't hate it but waiting for it to be more refined and definitely cheaper. Note line should not disappear do to newer projects Samsung got going on , just the Name itself Note should never disappear from Samsung, that line help sculp the phones today and how they are .

100X SPACE ZOOM.... Gimmick.
Actual usage: I would never have known what this was, if this didn't have that ability. Not that I use it a ton(I have mirrorless with interchangeable lenses), and not that often I see something i have no idea, what it is, along with i just wanted to snap it fast, before he took off.

But this was handy, just for figuring out what this crazy bird was. I sometimes also snap pics of helicopters and airplanes flying low(I love aviation and flight in general).

So, it has a use for some, even though, it may not be that often. I, just like mustang, wish they would improve on the quality.. That's all..

I am a serial Note fan who did not upgrade to the N20U because of financial unstable times. I don't think I am missing much holding on to my N10+ but if Samsung is going to kill off the Note line then I will purchase a N20U as my last Note and possibly my last Samsung.
Not sure what is Samsung's reason for considering killing the Note when there is a huge community of Note fans. I've stuck with them thru the N7 debacle only to be faced with Samsung possibly bailing on us next year. During the return process of both N7s I met so many people at the store who, like me, buy the new Note every year. I've never considered another Samsung phone simply because they are not a Note. I hope the rumors from Ice Universe are wrong because Samsung would be alienating a huge part of the base.

Yeah its a bummer for sure if its true...I'm still rocking my note 9 and if there's no more Note I'm not sure what other phone to buy in the future.. I have not hate for the iPhone but its not for me. If anyone have some suggestions I'm open to listening..

I don't get this, why is everyone getting upset about the note being moved to the S series. The note and S series are basically the same phone, so if they make the bigger version of the S series with the S pen it will be the note, just renamed. There used to be a difference between the two phones, now it's just the S pen.

Get an S21.

I mean... the people saying, "If there is no Note, I'm leaving Samsung"... if you are not going to an iPhone, then chances are you are going to stick with Samsung and that will mean going with the S-Series. Because if you want the best Android, arguably, it's still Samsung and the S-Series. And Samsung knows most won't be going anywhere.

And they make more money off ya because they have the S/Ultra priced $100 higher than the N20U. And they don't have to include an S-pen in that price. You'll actually have to pay $100+ more on top of the phone for those that will still get the pen. It's a win-win for them.

A lose for us. :(

I know LG has a pen model someone mentioned elsewhere but I didn't think about it cause IMO it's lame.. Unless the design has changed since last I saw one it looks like a shortened antenna for a pen not very clean design and it's on LG UI. Don't know about the Motorola honestly... maybe it's a good one.

IMO, the only other phones that can hold a candle to or better than Sammy is Huawei but you can't get Google Services on it.

Because missing the silo is the deal breaker. I can agree. I think if they kill the Note, first thought for me for me would be iPhone Pro. This year it was either N20 or iPhone 12 Pro and I went N20U.

If Huawei had full Google support, then definitely at top of list with iPhone... Huawei hardware is just so impressive to me.

I believe the issue is because the S21 is rumoured to not have an Spen holder built in.

I pictured flip case and a slot for the spen. I searched and found this.

I don't care for flip cases though.
