Wondering about antenna capabilities

I am on my 2nd s7 after having battery issues with the first one. Now having issues with searching for service and no service, so missing calls. I live and work within 4 miles of a tower. So far US Cellular hasn't found anything wrong with the tower. They now want to send me yet another phone. Wondering if the antenna is just not good enough to pull in a signal? Used to always go with Motorola phones, this is my first Samsung. Maybe a mistake. Any suggestions?

Have you tried re-seating your SIM card, or contacting U.S. Cellular for a new one?

Have not tried that in this phone. Did try a different SIM in the previous phone, and really didn't notice any difference. I do have that SIM that I could try, and will be getting yet another one when the 'new' phone they're sending arrives on Monday. I had my boss drop by my marina this afternoon, and we checked her phone against mine in a couple places, and also at our shop this morning. Her Motorola isn't really showing any stronger signal than my Samsung. We were both at -118dBm and 22asu at one point. I have a call in to one of the US Cellular guys I've worked with at the store, to see what he thinks about the whole thing and what I should be asking the network guys to check out. I still think there's a systemic issue, and it's not just the phone. And maybe I'm chasing something that I'm never going to catch ....

Is anyone out there using a signal booster, like weBoost EQO CellPhone Signal Booster? Is it hard to install? Does it work well?

An update ... got yet a 3rd phone (my original and now 2 replacements) and it is also going into Roam mode. Yet the network engineers can't find anything wrong with the tower or signals. And this phone is not responding well to screen swipes to screenshot or fingerprints (similar to comments in other threads about screen sensitivity) so it's worse than the previous one. I never thought I was this much of a complainer, but I sure seem to be with this phone. US Cellular says that once they see #2 is on its way back I should call them to report how #3 is doing. They had me do a phone reset (not FDR) and remove my SD card, and so far it's made no difference with swipe for screen shot or registering / using fingerprints. The other 2 phones never had those issues. And I couldn't send back this one and keep the previous or I'd be out $700+. Not to mention this phone went from 85% at 10PM to dead 0% at 4:30AM overnight. Not a good start ...
